Agent 8 and I are looking for the research area to help Marina hack into the data base of all the Exalted Flame experiments and expose it to the world before we destroy the building. But I was still worried about the others.
"Agent 3 and 4, how are you holding up?" I asked through our earpiece.
"We are struggling a bit, we're still holding the soldiers back!" Agent 4 respond as I can hear shots in the background.
"Warn us if you evacuate or if you need backup," I said in a serious tone.
"Understood. Now continue the mission!" said Agent 3.
"You can count on that," I responded.
After the call, I felt my Agent 8 tap my shoulder. I look at her and she pointed towards one of the room near us. I quickly tried to remember the blueprints in my head and it was the testing chamber.
"That's the testing chamber, but that can be a shortcut if we get through the glass," I explained to her as we walk towards the chamber.
I managed to forcefully open the mechanical door, I even managed to leave a dent it. Inside, was the same padded room that I remembered from so long ago.
"I always wanted to do this. Shame that no one is here to see it though," I said as I put my hand on the glass.
The moment I put my hand on the glass, it started to dissolve and then suddenly, shatter. I push the broken away so that we can enter the room behind it. I helped Agent 8 to enter the room before I did the same. Inside were some cabinet files, but more importantly, computers.
"Marina! We found some computers, but they are off from the power outage," I said through the ear piece.
"That's great! Does Agent 8 still have the hacked pen drive?" she asked.
I look at her and she pulled out the pen drive.
"Yes, she got it," I responded.
"Alright. All you need to do is find a USB port on the computer or the tower of the computer. I'll do the rest," Marina explained.
"Marina, is Callie and Marie on their position?" I asked.
"According to Pearl, they are almost there," she responded.
"Alright then, I'm on my way to the position. See you on the other side," I said to Marina.
"Tulip? Are you going to hold this ground?" I asked, by which she nodded.
I pulled out a splat bomb and carefully handed it to her.
"If it get too tough to stop them, use this to escape, alright?" I explained.
Agent 8 nodded as grabs the bomb and put it aside for the time being. I quickly hugged her, and she hugged back. We let go of each other and I start to make my way towards my position. But before I left the room, I turn around to face tulip one more time.
"Good luck, Agent 8. And remember, if it gets too hard, don't be ashamed to evacuate," I said with a smile.
