"You're... 'The Midnight Ghost', right?" Callie asked fearfully.

"What do you want?" he asked in a raspy voice.

His voice sounded like it's barely used over the years.

"We just wish to talk to you," said Marie, trying to remain calm.

He looks at the group, probably trying to figure out if they are telling the truth.

"Drop weapons," he commanded, pointing the splatling gun at the agents.

The three agents look at Callie and Marie, unsure if they should follow his order or not. The Squid Sisters just nodded, not wanting to agro him. Agent 3, 4 and 8 pulled out their gun throw them to the end of the cave. Once he was sure that they wouldn't try anything, he put away the splatling gun, but still kept his guard up.

"Why are you here?" he asked.

"W-we wished to t-thank you for r-rescuing us on Hammerhead Bridge," said Callie, still a bit afraid.

"We truly are grateful for saving us and we wished to know more of you. What we didn't expected was that you were..." said Marie.

"Such a cool legend in Inkopolis!" Callie interrupted.

Everyone one went quiet after she screamed that. Ghost gave her a confused and questionable look, not really sure what to say to her. Everyone gave her an odd look as well, causing her to be embarrassed and cover her face with her hands.

"I guess you can say that... Anyway, we wanted to thank you properly and maybe even talk to you for a bit," Marie explained.

"Why?" he asked, with his raspy voice.

"Well... you seam like the lonely type and... maybe we could talk?" Agent 4 suggested.

Ghost gave a glare to her, scaring her a bit.

"What she meant was, we wish to know more about you. If that's not too much asked," said Callie.

Ghost looks down, thinking on what he should do. After a minute, he looks up to the group again.

"I know who you guys are. Members of New Squidbeak Splatoon. I'll talk tomorrow at cabin. I'll tell my story there. But I will ask something in return. Deal?" Ghost explained, straining his voice a bit.

Everyone was surprised that Ghost knew that kind of information about them, but the way Ghost said sounds important.

"Alright, deal," said Marie.

"When do we meet?" Callie asked.

"Anytime. I'll meet you there. Now, leave me be," said Ghost.

Everyone decided to follow his orders. The three agents quickly grabbed their weapons and quickly made their way out of the cave. Once the group entered the manhole back to Inkopolis, Ghost lets out a sigh as he walks towards the end of the cave and lay down on the ground.
