"I'm cominggggg!" I yelled at my parents from my room.
It was finally Friday and were going to watch Black Panther and I was super excited.
Even Calvin was going to be there. That was the most exciting part. I was already fantasizing about how our movie night would be.
I took one final look in the mirror. My eyes were sparkling.
A grey sweatshirt which read "Everybody Lies" with Dr. House's cane beside it. Denim shorts which was an inch above my knees. My hair tied back into a high messy bun. No make up. Only creme.
Typical me. Not really, since by the way I was looking, my collar bones and my neck had become sleek, indicating that I'd lost weight. And I had grown one or two(or three, tops) centimetres tall.
I whisked out of my room and sprinted downstairs.
My mom looked no better than the previous day and my dad had bags around his eyes.
I slid into my seat at the dining table, facing my parents, who were not making any sort of eye contact.
"Pueden ustedes tanto lo que está pasando?(Can you both tell me what's going on?)" I kind of demanded.
"Uh ... nada, en realidad. Ha sido mucha presión de trabajo últimamente(Uh...nothing, actually. Its been a lot of work pressure lately), Honeybunch." Dad replied.
Why did my parents throw lies at me like throwing crumpled thermocol?
"I'm going to watch Black Panther with my friends tonight. So I'll be home late. Don't wait up for me. Bye." I said, completely cutting them off.
I grabbed my sandwich and stormed out of my main door.
I walked all the way to school, with my headphones on, playing the songs from the playlist I had saved for my music fest.
I was pissed. Pissed as hell.
I was raged. Raged as a triggered bull.

Calvin and I stole a million glances and every time we looked at each other, it felt different. I didn't know if it was a good different or a bad different. It felt kind of weird. There was something in his eyes which I couldn't quite put my finger on.
"So..how's it going with lover boy?" Cara wriggled her eyebrows.
"Lover boy? Seriously? Are you crazy? We're best friends." I answered.
"Excuse me? You're in love with him. And I know it. Its radiating from you. And he definitely has a thing for you. But-"
"But what, Cara? Continue!" I demanded.
"I don't know if I have to tell this to you."
That just made me lose it.
"Oh! Shut the hell up and spill it! I'm sick of people hiding things from me! First, its my parents and now its you!" I exclaimed.
Her eyes widened and her mouth gaped for a second before she spoke.
"I'm sorry, Rey. I just wanted to tell you that there's this negative vibe I'm getting from Calvin, I don't know why. I didn't want to ruin it for you but it just slipped out of my mouth." She finally blurted out.

I was dreaming about Harry Potter and the question he asked me totally made me blush.
