Luke:

Dude!! You've got to move onnnnnn!!!!!

Carmen:

Meh. I'm trying to. Its not that easy, you know?

Luke was trying to help me move on from Jamie. But it wasn't as easy as it sounded. Because it just wasn't a crush. I had been in love with him since eighth grade and I was still in love with him.

So yeah, it was hard for me. But there were slim chances of me and him being together. So I couldn't risk another disappointment. Luke was right. I had to move on.

And I had thought about it too: I will move on.

It was almost the beginning of December and nothing eventful had happened.

Days passed. My feelings for Jamie slowly started to fade away and it was like every time I saw him, I would see a piece of me in his eyes.

But almost during the third week of December, it was final. I never felt the same way I felt for Jamie. All I saw him was that he was another good friend of mine. That's all.

I had moved on. Hopefully.

My phone rang, displaying Cara's name in the caller ID.

"Hey Cara, what's up?"

"Hi Carmen. Nothing much. I called to tell you that I won't be able to come with you to school today. Dad's dropping me off. You carry on."

"Oh! Okay. I'll see you at school. Bye."

"Bye."

Great. I had to go to school alone. Mom and dad weren't home to drop me off.

I was bored to sit at home early in the morning so I walked to school, considering the fact that my knee needed some physical movement, I walked to school, in my own pace.

I had great trouble waking up, especially on a monday morning. I slept like a koala bear. Seriously.

I was pretty early to class for a monday morning. So I decided to sink in my seat, drown in my novel till my friends showed up.

I was into my novel "Flawed" by Cecilia Ahern and I was almost half way through it.

I was soon interrupted.

"Hey Carmen! I had a Harry Potter marathon this weekend. What actually is the plot of Prisoner of Azkaban? It was so vague. I didn't understand at all." Calvin said, bringing me back to reality from my novel.

"Oh. My. God! You love Harry Potter too?" I asked him with excitement.

"Yes! I loved it!" He replied.

I was so shocked and happy at the same time.

That day, we spoke for nearly an hour about Harry Potter and we found out that we were on the same page when it came to Harry Potter and we went on and on and on about it. It felt so good to have someone to talk to, especially when they're have the same likes and dislikes as you.

"Oh man! What was that! How long did you guys speak, huh?" Cara said, shaking my shoulders when she caught me smiling to myself like an idiot.

"Nothing. We spoke about Harry Potter."

"For an hour? Jeez girl! You didn't even realise that I was sitting beside you all this while!" She exclaimed.

I just grinned at her like a ninny.

The whole day was amazing. Of course, it had to be, because the day started with a good Harry Potter talk.

I guess that's what happens when a potterhead talks to another potterhead.
