Chapter 5: The Essay

*Brianna's P.O.V.*

When I was in English class we were told to pair up with a partner so Kody and I paired up to work on the essay together. We both decieded to walk home to his house after shcool to start working on the essay. At lunch I texted Andy telling him that I would be walking home with Kody to work on the essay with him. Andy said okay and that I had to be home by 5pm for dinner. I had a bad feeling about going to Kody's house tonight but I just shock that feeling off to forget about it. After school was over Kody met me at my locker. We headed back to his house. When we got there his Uncle Jon was there. Jon is also Black Veil Brides tour manager. Jon and I get along well some people think we hate each other because of the way we joke around with each other. I said Hi to Jon and than followed Kody upstairs to his room. He opened his laptop and pulled up microsoft word so we could start to type the part of the essay we had already written in class. I told Kody that I would type since we both agreed that I am a better and faster typer. After about 30mins of editing what we wrote in class I started to type the two long paragraphs that we have so far. After typing half of the first paragraph Kody went down stairs to get a snack for the both of us. When I was typing a notification on his facebook came up. I didn't click on it I just let it be. Than there was a notification on his myspace. That one brought me right to his page even though I didn't even click on the notification. His myspace notification was from 5 popular girls at my school that where flirting with him. At least I thought it was flirting. I than realized that he was with 8 other girls so that makes me one of 8 people. I sat there shocked that the seven other girls all knew he was cheating on me and how they found it so funny. I couldn't take it I closed out of his myspace and held my tears back. When he came back into the room I told him I had to go. He had a sad look on his face. I wanted to slap him across the face so badly. He than asked me if I was okay I lied and said Im fine. He saw that I was lying but I didn't care not one bit. He than gave me a horrified look. He asked me to tell the truth but I said Im fine over and over. As I tried to leave the room Kody grabbed my arm really hard and said "tell me what is wrong right now Brianna. Please just tell me." I said why would you care you used me anyway I pulled away from him but he pulled me right back. I was fighting his grip on my arms but he was to strong. As I went to kick him so he would let go of me he slapped me across the face. I fell to the ground and my face hurt like hell it was stinging. I held my cheek and ran out of his house. He tried to chase after me but I ran and ran.

*CC's P.O.V.*

The guys and I were all over at Andy and Juliet's house with the girls. We were just talking and laughing and having a good time when we hear the door slam. Which makes Juliet and the girls jump. We all see Brianna run the the living room holding back tears. Andy stood up quickly and asked her what was wrong. Brianna just pushed right past him to try to get up the steps to get to her room. Andy than grabbed her arm and spun her around to face us all. We all gasped as we saw the handprint acorss her face. Andy kneeled down and held onto her arms and asked "Brianna what happened? Who did this to you?" Brianna got out of Andy's grib and yelled "I don't have to tell you!" Andy sat down on the chair he was originally sitting and I brought his hands to his face. He seemed mad but more so upset. Ever since there parents past away Brianna has been coming to me or Jake on how she fells and whats bothering her she mainly came to me though. Before there parents passed Brianna would tell Andy everything and anything. I told Andy to give her a few minutes and than I would head up to talk to her to see if she will talk to all of us. After an hour I go upstairs and I knock on Brianna's door. I hear her crying and it breaks my heart. I hear her say yes so I asked if I could come in. Her door was locked which she never be locked but oh well. I hear her get off of her bed and I hear the door unlock I enter the room and she is crying into her pillow. I rubed her back and told her to calm down before she got a head ache. I asked her to come downstairs to talk to us. She said no, and how we would flip crap if she told us and how mad and disappointed we would be with her. I told her that no matter what is going on or what happnes we wont be mad or disappointed with her. She looked at me and forced herself to smile. She walked down stairs with me. The guys and the girls all stared at us. Brianna than apoligized to Andy and than she grabbed a water from the fridge. She sat on the couch that is next to the couch Ashley and I are sitting on. I started to get a really bad felling. She took a deep breath and said "promise me none of you will freak out at me and be mad at me or yell at me and be disappointed in me for not telling you sooner." We all said "I promise" at the same time. Than she started to talk and tell us. I was in full shock and felt like I was going to be sick I looked at everyone. Andy, Juliet, Jinxx, Sammi, Lauren, Jake, and Ella were all about to cry. Ashely gave me a sad look that had I'm gonna be sick written all over it.
