21. Ice Cream

I stand in front of her school waiting Marie to come.

"Sorry, I'm late.." She said and gave me a card.

"What's for?" I take the card.

"If you want to pick them up then you should have this card, so you will pass the security and be in waiting room there."

"Oh.. Okay, thanks"

"Please take them home before 4 pm."

"Yes.. I know that.. once again thank you" I smile.

I walk trough the security and gave that card. The security scan that card and let me in. I walk and there are a lots of people, I guess they are parents, they sit and also talking each other in the waiting room. I just sit there and waiting while one by one kids out from the door.

I stand unpatiently waiting them to come out. Then I see they holding their hands and start looking around. I rise my hands while Anna see me.

"Uncle Nathan!" Anna said out loud and walk through me. I couldn't hide my wide smile.

"Hi kids!" I kneel and facing them.

"What are you doing here?" Anna ask.

"I... I want to pick up both of you" I smile and caress her head.

"Anna.. do you know him? Who is he?" I see Alya ask her.

"Remember when I told you, I meet mommy's friend and he help me while I was lost in Los Angeles? He is uncle Nathan." Anna explain to her.

Uncle? Maybe they should know the truth? Oh Come on Nath! They're just kids.. What would you expect from them? Do you think they will believe what you just said? Even you just meet Anna twice..

Alya look at me and walk closer.

"Hi... I'm Nathan... You must be Anna's sister?" I gave my hand but she walk closer and suddenly hug me.

"Hi Uncle.. I'm Alya." She release her hug and smile. Sweet Alya.

"Okay.." I lift Alya in my arms while I hold Anna in my other hands.

"Where do you want to go?" I ask them while we walking to the car park.

"We're not going home?" Anna ask.

"Yeayyy! I want Ice cream pleasee" Alya clapping her hands.

"Okay then we have an ice cream!"

Darren open the back door for us. I seated Alya in the carseat while Anna sit beside me.

"Who's that guy? Why he is so nice uncle?" Alya ask.

Innocent Alya.

"Hi Darren.. please introduce my princess.." I said to Darren.

"Oh... hello princess.. I'm Darren.. your driver." Darren kiss her hand and I see they giggles.

"Please take us to the ice cream kingdom, Darren." I said and smile looking how excited they are.

We walk inside the ice cream cafe and Alya tugging my shirt. While I see her, she lift up her hands and signing me to pick her up. So, I lift her up in my arms.

"What's flavor you want?"

"Vanilla!"

"Anna?"

"Chocolate"

"Okay.. Please give me one scoop Vanila and two scoops Chocolate flavor for us." I said to the Cashier.

"Ohh.. young man.. are they your children? they looks so cute" The old woman said while I'm standing there to pay to cashier.
