Chapter 5: Makai

Botan almost regain her consciousness when she felt something heavy pressed her body into the group, she tried to get up but a certain Yokai Fox unconsciously laying into top of her. She pushes the Yokai out of her top, look up at her surrounding that seems not familiar to her.

"W-where I'am."

"Ouch! My head hurts!!" The Yokai fox complained about the pain he felt. When he realizes who's in front of him, he quickly grab the collar of her dress.

"Give me the Jewel you piece of trash!" He commanded angrily.

Botan try to remove the gasping hand from her collar.

"I already told you, that I will never give it to you! So you better shut up." Botan replied strongly.

"How dare you!!!" The Yokai Fox raise his hand to slap a certain blue haired priestess. Botan eyes shows no fear shows no sign of avoiding his hand, that gestures makes the Yokai Fox more interested to her.

"You're a strong, woman!! Let's see how long will takes you to act strong like this." Instead of slap her, he simply grab her chin pull towards to his face. Botan shows no emotions make her cheeks lightly pinkish. "Hand me that Jewel!!" The Yokai Fox forcefully open her hand to take the Jewel, and a sudden power escape from it causing pain in him.

"I told you! You will never have it." Botan said with a smirk. Fox gritted his teeth by anger.

"I think I need to use some force!!" He prepared himself trying to grab it again but the Jewel glow and entered Botan's body. "What did you do woman!!!" – Yokai Fox.

"This is the only way to protect this Jewel from this dangerous place. If you killed me, the Jewel will also disappear from its own existence." Botan confidently stated.

"Do you think that could help you to protect that Jewel?? I'm gonna make you suffer until you ask for your own death." The Yokai Fox respond.

"So be it."

The Yokai Fox flick it's ear when he felt that something approaching them.

"Heyyy, Youko you come back, did you bring the Jewel with you??" An ugly boar Yokai ask him together with his troops behind him.

"No! I did not have it, I fail my mission, but I will go back again to surely get it." The Yokai Fox name Youko answered.

"Make it sure; because the emperor is waiting for the result, we really need it to conquer the ningenkai." The Boar Yokai stated.

"That will never happen!! You ugly Yokai!!" Botan shout angrily, he suddenly felt insulted from her words.

"Human!! What do you think you're thinking??! And what does weak human doing here." The boar try to grab hear until he felt that his hand separated from his body.

"Don't you dare to touch her, she's my prey." Youko's hand was filled with blood from Yokai Boars disjointed hands.

"How dare you Youko!!, Kill him!!." The boar commands his troop to kill The Fox Yokai Youko.

In a swift motion all of his man bathed in their own blood, by Youko's rose whip.

"You betrayed us, Youko!!" The boar Yokai starts to run to escape from the Fox wrath.

"You pissed me off Ugly Boar, Who do you think you are for commanding me around. I'm emperors son the great 'Youko Kurama'." He emphasize his own name, before he could finish his own word he killed brutally the poor Yokai.

"Horrible!! You're Horrible!!" Botan stated witnessing the event.

"Shut up woman!!!" He walked toward her lift her up in his shoulder like a bag of sack.

"Put me down, Kitsune!!" Botan resist herself from his hold.

"Shut up woman, it's not a safe place for you." He responded.

"You wanted to kill me before and then now wanted me to be in safe?? Are you crazy!!" -Botan

"Don't misinterpret me woman, All I really care is the Jewel inside of you." Youko answered coldly.

After an hour of traveling to Youko's lair, they arrive. Youko threw Botan into his bed.

"Why didn't you tell them that I have a Jewel." Botan ask him curiosity while lying in his best.

"It's out of your bussiness woman." Youko command his plant to secure the whole place for possible attempting of escaping.

"I have a name, Kitsune." – Botan responds.

"And did I." – Youko.

"You are Youko Kurama, I'm right?"

Botan position herself sitting. Receive just a glare from Youko.

"Youko Kurama, son of emperor of Makai, Okami. The great greedy emperor who always wanted to be a ruler even in the different realms, he was ruling almost thousands of Yokai's, and the most powerful Yokai's of all, together with his two siblings Kuro, Aka. All of you are so dangerous; I cannot even imagine what would happen to Ningenkai if it falls into your hands." Botan stated with seriousness in her tone.

"How did you know such thing?" – Kurama ask.

"Who do you think I'am??"

"You're a fragile weak priestess woman." – Kurama.

"I have a name!! Did you manage to watch my everyday life, and cannot even remember my name?? It's Botan!! B-O-T-A-N!! You are pathetic, Kitsune." Botan stated.

"What did you say??" Youko was obviously pissed off. The two manage to have a glaring competition, no one wanted to back off from the little fight.

"It's enough! I'm tired and I want to sleep, move!!" Youko whoosh Botan to the side of the bed.

"Hey! Why are you sleeping beside me??" Botan complain.

"It's my bed!! So shut up!!, and don't try to escape, we are in the deep part of the cave and no one will come here to save you, my poisonous plant will attack you if they saw you trying to escape." Youko close his eyes and take a deep sleep.

"Hmmmft." Botan only manage to smirk. She was just sited on the corner of the bed, and unable to sleep from worries, after an hour of restless action her stare stick in the ears and tail of certain fox.

"It looks like so soft and furry." She thought to herself. She did not notice her own action, little by little he manage to be in his side, looking down into his face. It was so calm and gentle and seems tired for all his fretful activities.

"He had the most peaceful face, but dangerous Yokai." Another thought for her own mind. She gently touches his ear and its flick.

"What are you doing?? Trying to kill me while I'm sleeping??" Youko woke up from his sleep makes Botan shocks.

"N—no!! I'm just admiring your ear that's all." Botan answered.
