Chapter 17: Come Back

Botan arrived at Genkai's place with excitement to see the old lady. Genkai greet the deity with smile, she knew that their something wrong to the bubbly deity girl but remain silent waiting for her to spoke up the matter.

After exactly three days, the gang arrives at Genkai's place. Yusuke, Keiko, Kuwabara, Shizuru, Hiei, Yukina, Koenma and Kurama emerge into the place, their presence seems heavy since the problem not yet settled and it's hard for them to act that everything's fine obviously not. Yukina, Keiko, Shizuru and master Genkai uncomfortable due to heavy presence that surrounds the whole place.

"The presence here seems gloomy." Genkai spoke up to guys, waiting for the arrival of the foods. "Is there something that I must need to know?? Act like Botan."

"Sorry for that Master Genkai." Koenma respond seriously.

Shizuru get in the room feel the same.

"What kind of face it that guys!!?? It's this burial, why you're so sad and serious??" Shizuru speak with smirk.

"We must celebrate, having time to be together again after a long time." Yukina proceed after Shizuru with foods.

"Didn't you miss us, for acting like that?? It feels odd and sad." Keiko entered the room; she lowered her head showing too much sadness.

"Forgive us for acting like this, it just too much depressing lately that's why we are easily distracted." Yusuke give his best smile.

"He's right, guys! So tonight! Let's celebrate!" Kuwabara act in his usual self, giving them a loud laugh, and it's never fail to make them laugh and happy.

"Liquor!! We must get drunk, tonight!! We are on legal age now, so we better to enjoy this night." Kuwabara grab the jar of sake, giving each one of them the shot.

Minutes later, Botan arrive in the room in her usual smiles. Yusuke and the other stood up welcoming her in the room.

"Botan." Koenma walk towards her giving her worried look.

"Botan??" Kurama stood when Hiei stop him giving him a No.

"Hey! Guys! Stop acting so weird, it's ruined the mood here. Can we act together as the same as before, just like we are?? It's a lot fun in that way, hahahah." Botan laugh in her bubbly and cheerful way.

"She is right, everyone!!" A little smile escapes from their lips enjoying the night together.

Botan exit the room and Koenma quickly followed her, Kurama notice the gesture, he tried to sneak to have any idea what's really gotten into them. Outside the room far away from the group Koenma grab Botan's arm interrupting her.

"Botan, can we talk?? I know you're still confuse, but-"

"We don't have time, to waste right Koenma sama??" Botan cut off Koenma's word.

"That's not what I mean Botan!" Guilt can be seen in his eyes giving her a frown.

"But that's the reality, Koenma sama, don't worry I'll will do it later on, so you don't have to worry anymore." Botan's word pierces into deep part of Koenma's heart, that's not what he means. He hugs her tightly, Kurama saw what Koenma did and jealous strike down to his heart, and he wanted to grab Botan away from Koenma. The scene added his doubt and his emotions started to rise up again, wanted to confront the young ruler for the answer he's looking for.

"Botan! Can you trust us please. We will find other way to seal back the fallen, without using the jewel's power, so you don't have to sacrifice your own life." Koenma hug her tightly that before.
