Chapter 13: Again

Yusuke found himself froze in his feet when he witnessing a once event in Botan and Youko's life.

"Bo-botan??" Yusuke spit out her name trying to give her sympathy.

"I'm still here to guard the jewel, but I think this is the time to entrusted this to you since the jewel choose you as well." Yusuke knew that the Botan in front of him was just a part of the past but he cannot avoid being sad.

"Botan?? Youko was –"

"Stop it!" Botan cut up his word. "I'm not part of his life and time anymore; I'm just part of his forbidden past." Botan explained.

"B-but.. " Yusuke protest.

Botan handed him the jewel.

"If ever you cross your path with Youko, don't give it to him." Botan strictly instruct him. "Use it to seal again the abyss, after that it will automatically return to me. The reason of my existence here in this realm is to guard the jewel as part of my punishment." Botan added. Yusuke lowered his head composing himself to cry. "I'm just only a memory, abandon memories; you don't have to feel sorry for me." Botan added again to comfort her guest.

"You don't deserve this kind of imprisonment, you deserve better after all your sacrifice and suffering... " Botan give him a force smile. "Besides, Botan's deserve to know her past!!" Yusuke referring his deity friend who's patiently worrying outside about him.

"What do you mean?" Botan curiously ask. Yusuke turn his eyes away, giving her a silent respond. "Thank you Yusuke, for your kindness. You must go now, they are waiting for your return and please don't tell them about this, or anything about it."

Botan slowly turn her back away from Yusuke.

"Remember, Yusuke don't let it fall to the hands of someone, I entrusted it to you. Take good care in your journey."

"W-wait Botan!" Yusuke chase her but found himself passing the door of shrine.

Botan, Kuwabara, and Hiei surprisely look at him.

"Yusuke ?? Yusuke!!" Botan run cheerfully towards him, giving him a tight hug.

"Yusuke! You make us worried." Kuwabara relief when he saw his friend.

"Hmmft" Hiei smirks.

When Yusuke realizing that Botan hug him, he cannot compose himself anymore and giving back the same tight hug.

"Yusuke?? Are you hurt or what??" Botan asked, surprise notice his tears.

"No-nothing Botan, I'm just happy to see you again." Yusuke invented his excuse.

"Did you get the jewel, Yusuke." Hiei asked him.

"Yes." Untangled himself to the blue haired. Yusuke put his hand in his pocket and take out a beautiful jewel entangled into a red lace.

"I'm glad that you got it safely." Botan said with joy in her tone.

"We must take it back to Koenma Sama." Hiei said.

Kuwabara was still curious what's inside the shrine.

"Let me take a look inside, guys." Kubawara quickly make his way inside the shrine.

"W-wait Kuwabara!" Yusuke tried to stop him but he's already inside the shrine, expecting something appear after him but it's nothing.

"I was just an empty shrine." Kuwabara step inside when a certain portrait capture his attention, he walk closer to have a better sight.

"Waaaaaa!!" Kuwabara unavoidable scream when he sees the portrait.

Hiei, Yusuke and Botan immediately come inside, seeing a orange haired friend unbelieves from he sees.
