I ran as fast as I could down the alley. I didn't wanted to be treated like this anymore. Every word they say is like a stab in my heart. And all those terrible works were directed at me.

I'm stuck with an abusive person whom I hate with my dear life yet I can't bear to leave him. But after today, I snapped. I can't do this.

I'm going straight to the police

———Geno's POV———

I walked down the corridor with Cross a feet away from me. I didn't know that stupid ghosts could sense it. I thought no one knew other than them. Ugh. This is a literal nightmare.

"Sooo, sorry for what happens back there. I really didn't mean it," he said to me with an apologetic look in his face.

"It's alright. I know is wasn't your fault. I already saw your records before you came,"

"You WHAT?" He looked at me with a shock written in his face.

"What? I'm one of the top officers in the technology department. I can easily hack into any place I want really," I replied amusedly. He looked with an astonished look before turning back. "Anyways, who is this assassin you're talking about?"

"Ah. His name is Reaper Renrick. Top assassins in Australia and earns a living by killing. Also a good hacker too so I hope you could backtrace it," he responded. Then it hit me. No wonder the records were a little dodgy. Someone's been through them. What surprises me is that I thought I was the only one who knows. Guess I have a little competition.

"Huh. So he's been the one through the records. No wonder they look weird," I mumbled to myself.

"So, will ya help me?" He asked.

"Of course. Let's look through tomorrow since it is pretty late," I said.

"Sure. I'll see you around," he then walked off in the opposite direction as I headed towards the exit.

It was a lovely sunset and few specks of stars were shining in the orange sky. Warm coloured clouds passed over us in a slow manner, creating the feeling that time was slowing down. I took a deep breath as I made my way home.

I took out my keys and unlocked the door. I entered the house as I kicked my shoes off and falling myself onto the couch. I let my eyes close as I fell asleep.

I slowly opened my eyes slowly to see that it was completely dark. It's probably 2am but I can't sleep anymore. Just before I was about to go into my bedroom, I hear a shatter from the kitchen. I whipped my head, facing the stairs as I stayed completely still. I slowly take out a knife from the bedside drawer for emergencies.

Taking slow and quiet steps, I carefully go down the steps as I made my way into the kitchen. I took a peek to see someone messing around the cabinets. I took a deep breath before swinging the knife at the mysterious person.

However, things didn't go as planned.

He noticed it and ducked to dodge it. I kept on slashing at him as he continued. It went on for a minute before I saw the tiredness in his eyes. I took advantage of this and swing the knife at him. But then he did something I didn't expect.

He smirked at me.

He went aside and grabbed my arms. He managed to disarm me and held me in his hands. I tried to struggle out of his grips but they were like iron strong.

"Do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?" He asked, almost as if he was purring. Stupid cat. I'm not done with you.

"Ugh. Let me go!" I continue to escape but I failed. He looked at me with a smile on his face.

"I guess it is the hard way," he replied before I completely blacked out.

———Ink's POV———

Firstly, I have to deal with Error's gang. Secondly, I have to help deal with a loose assassin. Now I have to deal with a missing Geno?!

Today Geno didn't show up as he normally does and me, Dream and Blue were worried like usual. Cross decided to tag along to get Geno but when we noticed that the door's lock was broken, we knew something was wrong.

Cross got out his massive knife and searched the area. The whole living room was trashed and there were obvious signs of struggle.

"Why would someone want to kidnap Geno?" Blue asked me, almost in tears.

"I- I have no clue. Geno is mainly an undercover officer and no one even KNOWS he's even one," I muttered.

"Is it fine if I have a check through Geno's laptop?" Cross asked politely. I nodded my head before he picked the laptop and went through it. "He's been through a lot of security cams,"

"Yeah. He does the check on this city for Error's gang. Now we are left slightly blind,"

"I can help check through these cameras. At least I can help you with something in compensation for almost killing your friend..." Cross said.

"Thanks Cross. You're a life saver," I said cheerfully. He smiled before looking at the computer.

"Hey Ink! I think you should see this," Dream called from above.

"I'm coming!" I ran up the stairs and into a room which looked like a guests bedroom. "What is it Dream?"

"Look," he handed me over a bright neon coloured jacket. I looked down in confusion.

"Please don't tell me I'm thinking this the wrong way,"

"Yes you are. I'm pretty sure Fresh and Geno aren't dating. Especially Geno. Someone who hates the existence of others," Dream informed.

"Then why would Fresh's stuff come here? Since when did Fresh have a connection with Geno? He never mentioned him at all!" I stated. I was completely dumbfounded.

"INK! DREAM! COME DOWNSTAIRS!" Blue shouted from below. Again, I came down as soon as possible to see Blue in the kitchen. Cross decided to see what was up due to Blue's loud voice.

"What's wrong Blue?" Dream asked worriedly. Blue showed a piece of fabric that was clearly ripped off. It was a dark fabric, black to be certain. Who did it belong to?

"That stupid asshole," I heard Cross mumble quietly.

"Who is it Cross?"

"It's the fucking assassin,"
