~Chapter 27~

---Error's POV---

Dammit. I thought we could leave these police officers behind but that god damn head officer made me go with Geno?! I silently growled as Ink and Cross stealthily made their way to the opposite side of the mansion. Once they were out of sight, I looked back at the red scarfed skeleton before turning to Horror.

"Well then. Lead us the way," I muttered as Horror obediently nodded. We were soon on the move down the large corridor, making sure there were no men around. We soon came to a halt where Horror peeked around the corridor.

"This is the corridor they left us all in. There's one guy over there so it'll be easy but he's at the far end where Dust is," Horror whispered as he slowly moved his hand to the axe on his back. I quickly slapped his hand as he gave me a look of disappointment.

"If you do that, he can easily call the rest of the men and we are doomed," I hissed while Geno face-palmed. I quickly took a peek to see a skeleton in a red uniform like the rest of the guys. 

"Let me help you instead of getting ourselves caught," Geno sighed as he was busily swiping and tapping through the tablet. Then he looked up and I looked over the corridor. I saw the skeleton take his phone, seeing the 'change of plans'. He had his usual dull look but he didn't budge. He placed the phone back and slowly pulled out the keys. I immediately used my magic and grabbed him, holstering him into the air.

"GAh! What is this?" He shouted while the keys were dangling in his hands. I walked over to him with Horror next to me and Geno hesitantly walked behind us. He took a look at Geno and they both recognised each other immediately. 

"Error leave this guy alone. He saw us when we were rescuing you and he didn't snitch on us," Geno stated while I gave him a death glare. I slowly released the strings as he crumbled to the ground.

"Thanks man. If you're getting your friends out, that's what I'm doing. We have to go underneath the mansion," he said quickly.

"That's where we came. Hurry up because they'll soon find out the cameras are not working," Horror said as the skeleton quickly handed some keys as he went to open the other doors. I took some keys and was greeted by Nightmare who was glaring at the window.

"You finally came. These stupid assholes put me on magic restraints," He said pointing at his hands. I grabbed one the vases nearby, hitting in on the diamond on the bed post to give me a sharp piece. Using that I managed to break it open. He looked at me dumbfounded as I gave him a quick smirk. 

"That's an expensive vase. Doesn't break easily since it needs a diamond to break," I said quickly as I headed to the next room. While opening the next room, Geno finished opening the door beside me with Reaper standing behind him silently. I suddenly remembered what he said in the prison and was quietly snickering. Geno looked over to me, confused.

"Are you a lunatic?" Geno asked.

"We're criminals. Of course we are lunatics," I said while eyeing at Reaper. He noticed the message that was coming from me because he turned away in embarrassment. 

I unlocked the door to reveal Killer sharpening a knife which he had stealthily hid from those men. He looked up giving the usual creepy smile. 

"I'm gonna kill those ba-," 

"We're getting out of here first," I interrupted him as he quickly got out of the room. As I came out, I saw Horror, Dust and the skeleton waiting for us. "Time to get out," I said to them all until the skeleton walked over to me.

"Could you do me a favour and let me out with ya? I've been dying to get out of here," he asked. I mentally groaned of the amount of people I'm helping for no reason.

"Ugh fine," I groaned as I signalled the gang to follow me. We were back to the vent to see Cross and Ink stepping in there. The others were a little confused on why Geno was here, mainly hate but they were even more confused when they saw Cross and Ink in the same place.

"Guys. Calm. They helped me get you guys out," I said emphasising on 'helped' since Geno was literally there. Nightmare scowled while others had their normal dull tones.

"Wow. Your gang is depressed," Geno said sarcastically. I'm pretty sure we would've all killed him there but now wasn't the time. I let another signal as we all quickly clambered down the vent and closing it before anyone saw. Once we were down, we were face to face with Cross and Ink.

"Uh where's the other person?" Geno asked.

"Couldn't find them. I suppose they're somewhere else cause we checked everywhere!" Cross exclaimed. I then noticed Ink looking behind me with a smug look. I was confused of his actions and so was Geno and Dust. He then eyed Nightmare next to Horror. Realisation hit me like a truck while I was holding my laughter.

"What are you even laughing about?" Nightmare asked, hating positivity. I slowly whispered to Dust about what I was thinking which caused him to laugh out loud. Horror immediately slapped his hand above Dust's mouth since he was going to get us caught.

"I think I know what he's talking about," Geno said slyly as he was tapping around the tablet. "Haha. Crossmare is a nice ship. What do you think Cross," Geno said, not taking his eyes off the tablet. That's when Cross understood but Nightmare was being an idiot and didn't understand. Cross soon stormed off with one of the lamps.

"Hey! Cross wait up!" Ink said as he ran after Cross. Geno soon followed, not wanting to be near delinquents like us. The other skeleton looked at us hesitantly before running off. 

"Hey! What's your name?" Reaper asked. He then stopped and looked at us. 

"My name's Fell," he said quickly before running after the light source.
