Under Arrest (Multiship)

~Chapter 18~

———Third POV———

The small group of criminals quickly rushed out of the lab while the officers and the soldiers were distracted by the gang which had weirdly come out of no where. However they didn't question it as it did help them escape prison again.

Waiting outside, the group busily minded their own business while staying undercover. As one of the criminals did state that there will be a getaway car ready to pick them up, they all waited in silence as tension grew.

However that tension was relieved when the white Mercedes Benz did come along. It wasn't just one but three. Two of the cars were white while the last one was a black. Three men stepped out of their cars and opened the doors for the six of them, almost as if they were first class.

"Sweet. Luxury travel," Horror commented as he fist bumped Dust as Reaper just whistled.

They all scrambled into the car but a certain message was given to the group as it quoted that the son of this kind man should go in the black car. They all agreed, not wanting to waste any more time. They all hopped in as the cars sped away to a mansion on the hill top.

———Cross's POV———

They fucking escaped. Again.

Everyone was pissed off. Well, mainly me, Ink and Geno. Dream and Blue were still on the positive side that we will catch them again but the fact that they were right in front of us was overwhelming.

"Geno. Cross. Get to the cameras quick. We need to find where they are heading," Ink ordered as he made a phone call to the military for backup.

The random appearance of those men was surprising as it caught us off guard and distracted us. Thankfully, we managed to keep them under control with the con of the criminals leaving.

I walked over to Geno who was busily going through the feed of the cameras. While we were playing the feed, I saw that something was off.

"Hey. Don't you think something is not right with that feed?" I asked.

"Thank god. I thought I was crazy. Yes I think so too. I guess we got to hack it to find the details," Geno replied. He fingers hovered of the keyboard as he typed up some code with ease. And what we saw was shocking.

"Someone put a loop in the cameras! We're not seeing the actual feed!" I exclaimed. Whoever did this managed to make a loop of the feed and played it over again as if the criminals were never there.

"This is almost my level of programming. How the heck did I not see this?" Geno said. Great. Now we have no way of finding out where they escaped.

"Any luck guys?" Dream asked.

"Nope. A computer genius managed to hack the cameras so we can't see where they've escaped," I said.

"Oh. I'll tell Ink. He'll probably be waiting for some news," Dream sighed before leaving. Geno rubbed his temples as he groaned in annoyance.

"This is going absolutely terrib-," a phone call started ringing as it cut off Geno's sentence. "Oh sorry. That's me,"

———Geno's POV———

I quickly fished out my phone as I answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi sweetie!" A female's voice was heard over the phone.

"Mom?!" I asked surprisingly. She hasn't called me for a while due to my work. I guess she was free today. Cross took one look at me before smiling. I handed him the laptop before he left the room.

"It's me dear. I haven't talked with you for a while! You got to talk with your mother you know that!" She said in a playful tone. I chuckled at her response. She is a kind and loving parent. Even though she raised me as a single parent, she was the best. Besides. She was the only family member I ever had.

"Yeah yeah. That's why I'm talking with you now!"

"That's because I called you!"

"Haha. Anyways what brings you to call me today?" I asked curiously.

"Well, I have been saving up my money for a while and I've booked a ticket to New York!" She said cheerfully.

"Really?!! That's great! Tell me the time and date and I'll pick you up! You'll be staying with me," That was something great for today's failure. I haven't seen her for ages ever since I left England to complete my course for computer programming.

"That'll be nice sweetie! Oh! Would you look at the time! Sorry hun I need to go now. I'll send you the time! See you later!" She hung up as my smile stayed on my face. As I walked out of the room, Dream noticed my cheerful mood.

"Something's got you happy. What is it?"

"Oh. My mom is finally coming over to visit! It's great to see her since she is the only family member I have." I replied.

"That's wonderful! Hopefully something like that happens with me and my brother..." Dream sighed sadly.

"Don't worry. I'm sure he'll be kind one day,"

———Error's POV———

We walked down the mansion's hallways which were illuminated brightly. The guys were looking around in awe as I completely shrugged and continued to walk, following the butler.

We arrived at a huge door which two men opened for us. I scoffed in annoyance as we walked through. And there I saw the man himself. Sitting himself down casually on his desk with large panel windows behind him.

He was busy reading the news paper with his usual cup of coffee beside him. He turned the paper, completely ignoring us. Well, one of the men coughed to grab his attention. He set his newspaper down and looked up.

He looked the same as usual. His black suit with small hints of red. He was tall and probably gotten a bit old. He had his famous black hat with a gold trimming and he had a red tie.

"It's nice to meet you all. Thank you for cooperating," he said to us as he gestured the men to leave. He then turned to look at me.

"Welcome home...son,"

Cliffhangerrrrr

Hahaha. Error is the son of the mystery person! So is Fresh! And Geno's mom is coming to visit. Yay! Family bonding!

So there is an error in Wattpad which doesn't allow me to read my own books. Basically the books that I've written and I cannot reply to any comments! So sorry!

Also we are going on a tour of France starting tomorrow so I don't know if there's WiFi at the hotels. Hopefully there is. If not then expect a lot of chapters on Saturday.
