———Ink's POV———

Never have I witnessed a pissed Geno in my entire life. I've normally seen him tired and moody but so angry that his looks may kill someone? Never.

"OK WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU EVEN BREAK INTO MY HOUSE?!" Geno shouted at the poor criminal. It had to take Blue to calm him down. Noticing the assassin's face, I was a little surprised he..was...blushing??? Am I seeing this correctly?!

"Geno calm down. He's arrested so your safe," Blue did his best. Geno sighed while he took a deep breath and sat next to Cross. It was pretty obvious that Reaper didn't like that. You could see the absolute jealousy in his eyes. Man I ship it so hard.

"Since the argument is over, let's start with the real questioning," Cross continued. Reaper laid back as he rolled his eye-lights. "Why did you come here?"

"Because I have a friend here,"

"What is your purpose in this city,"

"Nothing deadly...yet," Cross glared at Reaper who looked back with a smug look.

"Is there any plan you have that will affect this city? I've seen that you've gotten along with the infamous 'Error' gang," Cross responded. What he just definitely caught Reaper off guard as he seemed pretty shocked.

"Wha- how-,"

"From What Dream said to me when he noticed someone wearing 'all black" fired a shotgun to distract the police officers in order for Error's gang to leave," Cross looked with a 'victory' look on his face. Reaper, unable to comprehend how Cross managed to find out and someone noticing him, couldn't speak.

"Nothing to say? Well I guess we arrest you for 30 years for the murders who've committed. Guards, take him out," I spoke in through the intercom which connected to the room they were in. The guards shuffled in and dragged him away. Geno looked disappointed as usual but what can I say?

"Well that was great," Cross commented.

"We've finished one case!" Blue chirped in.

"I'd say we all take a coffee break down at the new store near the flower shop. I heard it's pretty good," I said as I saw the nods of agreement.

———Geno's POV———

We headed down to the store as we have our orders and went to take our seats. Cross and Blue were chatting to each other while Ink stayed at the counter to pick up the drinks. As usual, I couldn't care less what they were blabbering on about, even if it's about tacos.

The door bell rung as a new customer entered the shop. To my surprise it was Fresh. He noticed me immediately and sat right next to me.

"Sup mah broski!"

"Hey Fresh. What bring you here?" I asked in my usual dull tone.

"Nothin' much brah! Just visitin' the rad new shop that is!"

"The drinks are here- oh hi Fresh," Ink came back as he handed out the drinks to everyone. He weirdly eyed Fresh before taking a seat. I could notice that there were weird glances from Cross, Blue and Ink but I was busy sipping my coffee.

"Hey inkblotch!" He said loudly.

"It's Ink," I heard Ink mutter quietly. I notice Cross trying to hold back a laugh, which he succeeded in doing so.

"How are things Fresh?" Cross asked.

"Ah. Bit borin' but I get to meet radtastic skeledudes like you!"

"Are you and Geno dating?" Blue asked. I spat my drink out as Fresh was laughing hilariously.

"Hahaha! Me and Geno brah dating? Naw dawg! We are just rad friends!"

"I swear to god I'll never date," I quickly replied. Ink and Cross looked at each other before shrugging it off. Did they really think I was dating FRESH?

"Then why did you have Fresh's jacket in your closet?" Ink asked.

"He gave me that one day. Basically handed it to me before leaving. He knows very well I hate neon colours,"

"That's true brah,"

"Ah. I see..." Cross continued to act suspicious.

"Why would you all think I'm dating him?!"

"Natural instinct but I have a better ship in mind," Ink said as he looked at me.

"Ship me with whom?"

"AFTERDEATH AWAY!"

———Dream's POV———

I've been talking with Lust for a while and he seems to have calmed down better. Whatever past he has had, it has definitely taken a toll on him but I am glad that he is a bit better.

"Ok. We'll provide you with an apartment which you can stay in the meantime while this case continues. This way you don't need to go back!"

"Thank you so much!" Lust responded but then his mood showed he was a little bit afraid. "Um. Do you mind showing me where it is?" He said scratching his back.

"Gladly! It's near the police department so it's a quick walk!" I replied. Not moments later were we walking down the street.

As we arrived to the apartment, I lifted the carpet mat and took the key out. I opened the door and allowed Lust to have a look around his new home for the meantime.

"I can't thank you enough for all this!"

"No need to thank! Just doing what's best! Anyways, I'll need to get back to the office so I'll see you later!" I said before handing the key and leaving the block.

When I was walking down, back to the office, I noticed someone on the opposite side of the road walking in the same direction. He seemed rather off from the way he shuffled along as if he was hiding something in his jacket.

I walked a little faster to catch his face but then a car came right in front of my view. I sped walk to see from a different view point. I noticed the skeleton handing the person in the van a bag. I took a quick notice of his face as he had weird black tears running down his cheeks. I immediately hid as he turned in my direction. I hid for a while until I heard the van firing its engine and drive away.

I knew that face anywhere.

Why else would he known if he was part of the infamous gang?
