--- Ink's POV ---

Seeing Error trying to comfort me was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen in my life. For that reason, I've been bugging him about it ever since the morning sunrise.

"Shut up you squid," he grumbled, folding his arms to express how frustrated he was.

"Yeah but the evil, gang leader Error managed to comfort the all-powerful officer leader," I exclaimed, knowing that it was going to boost my ego anyway.

"Since when were you all-powerful?" Error looked at me, taking it seriously.

"Since forever, duh,"

"Wanna test that in a fight, squid?"

"Yeah but we can't fight or else we'll destroy this whole flat thanks to out magic!" I tried to avoid his threat, continuing to joke around. Error looked at me with a disappointed glare before trying to make himself breakfast. "Don't burn down the flat because you're angry!"

"Can you like, shut up for one moment in your life?" Error retorted.

"Nah. Not since I took my pills for my non-existent soul!" After I spoke out loud, Error stopped what he was doing and looked at me with concern. I didn't understand why he looked at me like that since my emotions were boosting high.

"You...don't have a soul?" he asked quietly.

"Yup! You can try and 'Check' my soul but you won't see one!" I said, boosting with energy. Error brought his hand up to my chest as I could feel the sense of him checking my soul. I saw his eye-widened as he brought his hand back, looking at me worriedly. He looked as if I was going to dust right in front of him.

"How are you even alive?" he asked slowly.

"Dunno but boy it's great to talk with you but I need to make myself breakfast if ya let me!" I shouted really loudly as Error stepped aside to let me past. However, I felt stares piercing through my back as I turned around to see Error in a shocked state.

"You...you keep yourself safe. Ok?" he mumbled as he left the room. Man Error is such a scaredy-cat!

--- Cross's POV ---

I'm usually an early bird but waking up to what I saw today was the most frightening thing.

As per usual, I woke up at my normal 6 am. The only thing that was out of place was that Nightmare had slept on top of me the entire night! And because he was on top of me, I couldn't bear to move a muscle in case I woke him up or something. Thankfully Nightmare woke up five minutes after, instantly jumping off me and headed towards the kitchen.

After that eventful morning, I spent the rest of the afternoon trying to convert some files from my computer from Austrailia for more information on Error's father. Man, we need to find a name for him instead of calling him like that. Pushing that aside, the files had finally finished converting and I took a quick peek.

"Hey, I think I should go back to my house. My mum hasn't been answering any of my calls..." Geno looked worriedly as he was frantically pushing the same buttons over and over, checking for a reply.

"Yeah. We should go there since that's near the apartment where Dream and the others are," I commented. "By the way Geno, I found some more files about Error's father," I told him as I handed the laptop to Geno who scrolled down the pages.

"Those files were never recorded here!" he exclaimed.

"That means that he erased them since he is currently living here!" I said. "We got proof he's guilty!" I sighed in relief. Nightmare came walking in as he held a cup of coffee in his hand.

"Hooray?" he asked as Reaper quietly told him what happened.

"Hey, guys? I have a question to ask..." Geno asked, grabbing the attention of us all. While he was asking, Sci came from the kitchen, along with Classic who was coming down the stairs.

"Mornin'. What did I miss?" Classic asked yawning.

"Nothing much. Geno was going to ask us a question," Reaper stated as he looked back at Geno who quietly thanked him.

"Yeah about that...how exactly did you get this entity out of me?" he asked.

"Well Fell had to break into the mansion to collect a spell book which was located there," Nightmare explained.

"Yeah but do you know who put the spell?" he asked again as if he didn't want something to be true.

"Uh perhaps yeah. Error and Fresh's dad?" Classic told him. Geno had a face of confusion and misunderstanding as he thought to himself about something.

"Is there something wrong Geno?" Reaper asked.

"N-Nothing. It's no big deal. Just want to know which idiot did it," Geno said, hiding something while his voice suddenly deepened when emphasising 'idiot'. Geno was taken aback by his voice as he held his throat gently.

"I think you're not completely separated from the entity Geno," I told him as I gave a gesture on Nightmare to keep an eye on him. Reaper held Geno's arm for safety. I'm pretty sure it would hurt Reaper if he couldn't be next to Geno really.

"Why don't we get a move on? Firstly, we go to Geno's house then straight to the apartments," I ordered as I everyone silently agreed and got ready to leave. I looked back at Geno who had beads of sweat, clearly showing something wasn't up.

I guess I was going to have a talk with Dream to figure out what's up.

--- Fell's POV ---

We walked down an unfamiliar path as we all made our way to Geno's house. I've seen him trembling with fear the entire journey but I already felt sorry for him to be under control of an entity set by the boss. I saw him looking at me as I returned the look with a comforting smile. He smiled worriedly back as we arrived at his house.

It was a decent sized house as Geno walked up to the porch as he fumbled with his keys. As he was going to put the key in the keyhole, the door was pushed open.

"Someone broke into your house," Cross stated as he took out his knife-sword and entered the house carefully and quietly. Reaper however just walked in casually.

"Why are you walking so casually?" I asked him.

"You're talking with the best assassin in town. I know how to walk around places without making a sound," he whispered as he continued to inspect the house. I saw Cross giving a gesture to Geno, telling him that it's all clear.

As soon as he gave the sign, Geno rushed up the stairs, searching in every room. I contributed as I searched downstairs while others inspected the mess that was made purposefully. I heard the frantic footsteps echo down to the living room as Geno stopped mid-way down the stairs.

"I can't find her anywhere!"

"Guys I found a note!" I heard Sci shout from the kitchen. We all huddled our way to the kitchen as Sci looked at the note with disbelief.

"It's from the boss..."
