3ird person pov:

ever since that day humanity has been in a pickle.

week after week, androids go missing and can't be found around the town, this was going on for almost a year now.... a year...

people report black shadows sneaking around but no one could pinpoint the people and where the androids went, their tracking system turned off a few hours after they were gone and their disappearance never noticed fast enough to be able to track them down.

Hanna's pov:

".... and this week again three androids have gone missing in the southern districts of--" I turned off the radio as I sat on my bed.... waiting for the moment.

"Hanna your dinner is ready"

"fuck off!!!" I yelled at the android dad got me after Y/N left, I couldn't help but hate her with all my guts.... I didn't want her.... I wanted Y/N.... I miss her.... so much....

"yes Hanna, right away"

I sighed and stood up, walking over to what was a book and flipped it open, between the pages were letters.... all from Y/N.

I've never seen her anywhere but at times an android would bump in to me on the road and shove the letter in my hands, another android calling that I let something fall from my bag.... always something different but one thing was to norm.... that's why I kept my window open now.

I closed the book and sighed.... I wasn't an idiot; I could tell it was Y/N's doing the androids where going missing though nobody believed my families claims.... more like the asshole brother and workaholic dad.... the news thought it was to try to keep their image up for business.... I was so grateful they weren't believed.

I jumped a little when I heard something hitting the ground and looked back.... it was a rock with a paper wrapped around it.... jeez last time it was a paper plane.... I knew these ones where always from Y/N herself because I don't think she'd have told her friends where I live

I undid the thread around it and read the note, the same thing as always, that she was doing good, hoping I'm alright and such, though it always made me smile.

Y/N's pov:

<this year was filled with change for me.

<first of all Colin, the robo-cop, and Megan, the android I booted up, helped me set this harbour up as our base camp.

<overtime I turned more and more androids into deviants like us and our numbers where still growing.

<I found out I was the only android to feel pain, be actually able to cry, don't get tired like me and don't have such advanced systems, Colin was a cop so his software was really good but he did behave like a machine at times which I now find a bit difficult to do.... and these differences become more and more evident when more and more androids where turned deviant.

<though it made it easier to turn their LED's off and take it out without the same problems I came across.

<the deviants followed me as their leader even if I clearly let them take the place if they wished.

<so the harbour.... we had cleaned out the buildings and even the boats the make places to sleep in, it was not the best but it's fine with them since when they shut off it's a bit different from mine, they can be back in the snap of a finger while I take a full minute to shake the sleep away.... these humans really did a great job with me.... almost making me one of them.

<I found it to dangerous the leave a straight rout to the harbour so I made us move piles of trash and containers to make a big labyrinth so it was hard for anyone that didn't know the way to get to us...... I was like the queen of this dump which was still okay now that it was cleaned around and in the place we lived in.

<right now I'm walking in town with my hood over my head and ungloved left hand in my pocket.

<I passed a family where an android was caring their stuff.

<I discreetly grabbed his arm and that now oh so familiar shock happened.

"when everyone is asleep find the harbour, follow the golden path" <I whispered and it was like that never happened, both continuing on their routs.... golden path.... we had used a type of gold yellow on bright yellow containers in small patches and in places only an android would see and be able to get too....

<I walked back to the containers and looked around to see if someone was following or looking at me.... none, good....

<I climbed on the android holding station not far from there and ran before jumping and landing on top of a container, continuing to run, you can't afford being seen by anyone.

<my thoughts drifted while I ran, jumped, climbed and slid across the terrain to get closer to the harbour.

<some of the older androids that joined us are starting to power down, their battery running out and their bio component really needing a change but all the things we have are the ones found in the buildings workshops and those are running low and even none existent for certain models....

<I don't know where I can find enough pieces to help everyone.... I think I need to pay a visit to someone I know and miss a lot for answers to my questions.
