It's strange to think there was once a past where humans didn't have androids, they are everywhere now.
Humanity is far more advanced than what you and I think: androids have human faces but aren't alive they are simple machines.

"we got to go now!"<I sit up; Hanna shook awake by her friend.
"what's going on?"
"cops, all around the place, I saw them as I was going to the vending machine downstairs, they were asking people with a blurry picture but clearly us"
"fuck"<I walked to the door and glanced out it before closing it. "they haven't come up still we have a chance"<I marched to the window and opened it, there was the staircase in case of fire but a window over.... no time for that!
<I climbed out it and stood on the small ledge with almost only my toes, I quickly turned around and grabbed on the metal railing with one hand and put my foot there to so I was sort of standing in the corner, half on the ledge half on the stair, the wind and rain don't help with it.
"Opal! give me your hand and jump over!"<I yelled over the wind, grabbing her hand tightly as I half pulled her as she jumped and gripped the railing and climbed over it.
"Julie your hand!" <she was a bit more hesitant but did it when she heard knocking on the door, Opal helping her up while I already turned to Hanna.
<she grabbed my hand as the door was kicked open so I used more force to quickly pass her over, slipping and almost falling if it wasn't for my hold on the railing.
<Opal helped me up.
"go go go!" <I yelled, Opal passing first and followed by the two girls.
<we arrived at the bottom when I spotted two armed man entering the alleyway the stairs lead down too.
"Opal! go to the parking on the 29th street! find a car and try to hack in its navigation system to get it running!"<I stopped and turned around. "I'll buy us some time!"
<I kicked up a small metal bin, sending it flying at the men while I kept the top in my hand.
<I threw it like a Frisbee at the face of one of the men as I grabbed the others gun, throwing it up on the fire stairs and out of reach before grabbing the side of his face and smashing it against the other's, hearing a breaking bone.... cartilage to be exact since it's the nose that broke.
<I kicked the second weapon away and picked up the broken nosed one, throwing him at the wall, he fell on the ground like piece of rock.
<I got punched and pushed down by the other but quickly flipped us over and hit him with a left hook in the jaw.
<I hoisted him up and threw him in a bin before looking around a bit and taking of running.
<I was relieved to see no one yet got to the others when I arrived.
"let me do it"<I pulled of my gloves and dropped them on the ground before laying one hand flat on the car, it buzzed alive.

"get in"<I said while opening the door.
<I sat in behind the steering wheel and touched the motherboard, it beeped alive.
<I typed in the next towns coordinates and the car rolled out of the place alone and went on the highway, here they can't track us.
"h-how were we found?" <Julie shivered, it is kind of cold for human girls with the rain and wind and it's only.... 04:24 in the morning.
"I don't know"<I muttered. "no idea"<I said while making my seat turn around to face the back seats.
<I was about to say something again when my eyes widened in horror as Opal fixed her hair........ her LED.
"Opal"<I muttered. "oh my god I know!"
"what?"<she was confused.
"Opal there is a tracker built in in to each LED on androids, you still have yours, they can track us with it"<I said, everyone had a different reaction, Opal was shocked, Julie was sacred and Hanna just stared at her.
"Opal you need to trust me here"<I said, turning her seat around. "I need to shut you down or we risk getting found again, I know it's scary I know but please trust me"<but she shook her head, for me shutting me down it was like turning me off, Hanna did it a few times before but for true androids that weren't humans before like me it was technically death if not turned back on and it was a scarring experience for most.
"Opal let me, I promise it will be all fine"<she grabbed my hands that reaching for her and tried to fight me as I tried to reach her LED.
<she pushed me aside and I stood up a bit, kind of laying against her to use my weight to help me.
"Opal! trust me!"
<she fell out of her seat and against the door, yanking it open as I still tried to shut her down.
"Y/N!"<both humans yelled as I was half hanging out of the speeding car.
<I waved my hand around and grabbed on the door and pulled it close with some difficulty since I was still fighting with Opal.
"girls dammit!"<I barked, Hanna was the first the do something, since I couldn't reach the LED she quickly pressed it down as I held Opal's arms and head to keep her from moving it.
<I sighed a little in my head as her eyes closed and she stopped moving.
<I leaned her back in her seat and buckled her in, turning the seat back in its original position.
"we'll need to take that LED out but we'll wait until we got to the next town and brought the right tools, I can't do this is she's not awake and we'll have only a few minute window to do it so it's better to find a safe place for this"<I explained as I remained turned to the girls.
"alright.... where are we going?"
"to the second nearest town to the border, we can't go through the main gates in the nearest town since we would be caught instantly so we'll stop, as I said, in the second nearest and go through the forest until we reach the river like lake, what I mean by that is that the lake it really long, the other coast will have been safe"
"but how will we get through the river? it's mid-autumn, it's way too cold to swim across and even if we could, our clothes"
"there is no need to worry.... remember Kevin?"
"my idiotic brother's android?"
"yeah him.... I turned him deviant the day I came to get you to leave, I told him to usual but hide a special new code I made in him.... once he was safe he was to bring a motorboat on this shore, now we just got to get to the river and find the boat"
"you really planned this all-out"
"as much as it's possible in such a situation, I knew we couldn't pass through the border gates and this was the only way"<I looked over my shoulder to see the car rolling in still darkness even if it was a bit clearer. "you girls should sleep while you can, the closer we get the bigger the risk for everyone and we need to be rested to be able to react accordingly"
<I turned off the lights in the car.
"good night girls"

<I sighed and leaned back in my seat, spinning it back in the right way and closing my eyes as I covered my arms over my chest.... we were getting so close.... it was only around a..... a day over and we would be safe and free...... we can do it.... we can....
