Chapter 21

Dave POV
I had been calling Aaliyah for the past ten minutes now as she hasn't answered. I was kind of worried but maybe she in the shower or some. After the last time calling I decided to pick up some turkey meat to make turkey burgers, and some rally fries. Something simple. I had kairi car seat sitting in the cart while she had her fist in her mouth kicking her legs. I walked to the aisle that had the fries. I picked up the fries and heard a familiar voice.
"Well well Well if it ain't mister David Brewster" she said
I turned around to see kiesha. Kiesha robbed me one night we had a one night stand I ended up falling asleep and when I woke up all my chains money and debit cards was gone. I had my people look for her but they couldn't find her it's like she fell off the face of the earth.
"What do you want" I said mugging her
"It's good to see you too grumpy" she said giggling
"We not friends and don't think I don't know what you did to me" I said still mugging her
"I don't know what you talking about sir" she said playing dumb
"Don't play dumb bi.." I was cut off by Kai crying
"Aww who's this she's pretty" she said touching kairi hand
"Don't touch her bitch. Just know I'm coming for you" I said in a whisper
"I'll be waiting" she said rubbing up and down my chest
I pushed her hand away from me and walked off while giving Kairi her binky. I paid for my things and walked off. By the time I made it home Kai was asleep. I got her out the car and took her up to her room to lay her down. Once I walked in the house I seen Liyah asleep on the couch. That's why she wasn't answering. I walked to Kai's room and laid her down. I went back outside and got the bags. Instead of waking Liyah I just went ahead and cooked.
I was almost done cooking when Liyah came in the kitchen and hugged me from the back.
"I said I was going to cook Dave" she said pouting
"You were sleeping peacefully I didn't want to wake you" I said flipping the turkey burger
"Oh okay. Where's Kai?" She asked
"In her room sleeping" I said
"Can we talk?" She said
"We talking now ain't we silly" I said making her laugh
"You know what I mean" she said rolling her eyes playfully
"Go ahead then mamas" I said curious of what she wanted to talk about
"Lastnight you asked for me and Kai to move in and I'd been thinking since then" she said
"Alright what you thinking" I said
"We can move in BUT.." she said
"But what?" I asked
"You got to let me pay a bill around here" she said
"Man nah I can't let you do that" I said shaking my head
"Well I guess we not moving in then" she said walking away. I pulled her back turning her around so she was facing me
"Okay you can pay the cable and WiFi bill BUT.." I said
"But what David" She said
"We got to work on us. I want us to be together" I said it was no secret that I had developed feelings for her I just hope she feel the same way about me.
"Okay" She said
"Okay?" I said shocked
"Yes okay" she said simple
I pulled her into a kiss forgetting that I was cooking
"Dave the turkey burgers" she said breaking the kiss
"Oh shit I forgot" I said laughing good thing they wasn't burnt. The food was finished and we had took our plates up stairs and started to eat when Kairi started crying
"I'll go get her fix her a bottle just in case she hungry" I said I walked to her room and soon as I walked up to her crib and she seen me she stopped crying and started smiling. She made me so happy. I felt her diaper and I seen she needed to be changed. I laid her on her changing table and started changing her right when I took her diaper off she started peeing.
"Really Kairi! You gone do that to daddy" I said making her giggle
"Oh so it funny huh" I said laughing my self I cleaned her up and put her a new diaper on her I wiped her down and put her some pjs on since it was night time. I picked her up and took her to my room I seen Liyah was done eating and watching a movie
"What's on your shirt" she said
"This lady decided to pee on me" I said shaking my head I decided to take my shirt off and finish eating
"Good job mama baby" she said trying to reach for Kairi but I popped her hand
"Nah shawt she chilling with daddy right now" i said
"You don't never let me have my baby" she said pouting
"You had her for a whole month by yourself let me spend time with my baby" I said I looked down and seen kairi had her hand in my food trying to grab it.
"Man you so greedy just like yo mama" I said to her
"I am not greedy"Liyah said
" okay baby whatever you say" I said pecking her lips repeatedly until Kairi started screaming at us
"Somebody is Jealous" Liyah said
I finished up my food and decided to get in the shower since kairi peed on me
"I'm finna get in the shower." I said handing her Kairi
"Okay I'm finna feed her and put her to sleep" she said beginning to feed Kairi
They was my everything literally. I don't know what I would do without them. I smiled at her and headed to the shower. I got out the shower and went to the room to get dress. When I walked in I seen Liyah knocked out with Kairi right beside her. I got dressed and got in the bed with them. I decided to let kairi sleep with us tonight. Once kairi felt I was in the bed she made her way towards me. She really was a daddy baby. I kissed her cheeked then kissed Liyah head and whispered "goodnight my babies" then fell asleep right along with them.
