(LAST CHAPTER NOOOOOOO)

Today was a "very special day" according to Shawn. Every time he would mention it, I'd roll my eyes. Right now I was dressed in my new bathing suit with a white lace cover up, plus my new sandals. No phones or anything. Just us. We were currently driving to the beach with the windows down, my wavy hair flying all around my face, making me look like the Tazmanian Devil. Shawn would always laugh then speed up every time he looked at me. I crossed my arms and tried to see in front of us through my hair, but found it useless.

"Why couldn't I just wear my hair up?" I yelled over the wind.

"Because I wanted to see your hair!" he yelled back. I sighed and tried to pry hair off of my lips and eyelashes.

"Well you sure got what you wished for," I yelled back.

Shawn laughed at me heartily before taking an exit. We'd been driving for 3 hours already, and I was ready to get to our hotel resort. Shawn started heading towards a huge building with a lot of windows on the sides. I marvelled at its sheer size. He pulled into the parking lot and I peered over the edge of the hill the building was resting along. The beach waves crashed lazily against the white sand. I stared on in awe until I felt Shawn wrap his arms around me and spin me in circles. I laughed and begged him to set me down so that we could get inside. He finally put me down and I ran to the open trunk and grabbed the heavy suitcase only to have Shawn take it for me. I sighed and began to walk with Shawn next to me up to the hotel entrance. The door opened automatically and I stopped right in my tracks. A glass staircase spiraled up to the top floor right in the middle of the building. The railing was a metallic silver. A long, silver front desk was occupied by a woman in a dress suit with a bright blue bowtie. She smiled warmly at us as I marveled at the humongous hotel. Off to my right, clear glass tables with sleek black chairs rested on either side of a black marble island. Behind that, a pair of shaded French doors closed off what I guessed to be the breakfast area. To my upper right, a large black flat screen television set was mounted on the white walls. Two black sectionals surrounded the entertainment center. Then to my upper right was a set of sleek silver elevators. Every empty space of wall was a floor-to-ceiling window. The floors were a dark wood that looked extremely expensive and elegant. Shawn smiled at me and I walked behind the staircase, only to stop in my tracks when I saw a clear wall with water trickling over the top. In the middle of it read the name of the hotel. I sighed in appreciation as I returned to the front desk next to Shawn. He was speaking with the front desk attendant. She was smiling and nodding at him, she even winked at him a few times, followed by a flirtatious giggle. I smiled at her while I kissed Shawn's cheek and grabbed his hand in mine.

"...and here are your room keys, Mr. Mendes. Thank you for choosing Terranea Resort. We hope your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Your room is 1215. Your floor is the 10th." she smiled at as once more before averting her attention elsewhere. I walked with Shawn over to the elevators and pressed the glowing button on the inside. I found out that elevators traveled extremely fast, and was surprised when the door opened at our floor in a matter of seconds. I stepped onto the plush grey carpets and looked at the wall signs to see which direction we needed to go. I peered over the edge of the staircase and moved back precariously. Shawn threaded his fingers through mine and together we walked to our room. Shawn unlocked the door and swung it open along with our suitcase. I waltzed into the room while swinging my arms. There was a small wall in the middle of the room where a king sized bed sat. Either side of the wall was open to the rest of the room. The walls behind the beds' wall were made entirely out of windows that overlooked the ocean. Directly behind the bed wall, there was an opening that led into a medium sized living room with a sleek kitchen to the right. I smiled at Shawn as he walked next to me.
