Chapter 2

I stare at my old desk across from me as I hear a door quietly open and shut. I quickly stand up and watch Tobias as he leans against the side of the doorframe. The morning light reflects into his deep,dark,blue eyes making them shine like diamonds. I walk up to him as he looks around my room and stare intently into his eyes.

"I love you Tobias." I say "I'm glad you came back but it's time for you to move on."

He never listens....but what do you expect from someone who cant hear the dead.

I'm Dead.....who knew that those two words could hurt like a knife to the heart. It doesn't just hurt me.....it kills me over and over and over and over again. He needs to move on like I said but even if he could hear me,he wouldn't do it. I have never tried entering into his dreams to tell him but i'm scared that it'll start another relapse of him trying to commit suicide to be with me. After four unsuccessful times of trying to kill himself he finally stopped thanks to Christinaand Zeke. I dont want him to start doing that again because one day he may successfully kill himself and I don't want him to die because of me even though I want to hug him and kiss him as much as I want without a limit.

"Tris,I'm sorry I faught with you and I'm sorry I wasn't there with you before you died." Tobias says.

"You shouldn't be sorry,Tobias." I say touching his cheek "you did nothing wrong. I was the one to start all of those fights and I was the one who chose to die not you."

He takes a shaky breath before saying "I won't let you go,Tris."

" But please,Tobias. You need to let go of me." I say with tears in my eyes.

I stand on the tips of my toes and kiss him on the lips. When I back away,his eyes are closed and his fingers touch his lips. When he opens his eyes,he looks around the room his eyes almost wild. He knew I kissed him.

" Tris?" he says "Tris? I know your here." he smirks but it soon fades.

"I'm right here,Tobias, and always will be every step of the way." I say smiling with a tear still lingering in the corner of my eye.

" I love you,Tris." he says loudly and quickly like he'll never see or hear me again but maybe that's true.

"I love you to,Tobias." I say.

"You really shouldn't be doing that." I hear someone say. It sounds like Christina.

Tobias turns around and watches as Christina bounds up the old stairs and stops in front of him.

"What do you mean? I'm not doing anything." Tobias says to her.

"Yes,you are,Tobias.You're not letting her go." Christina says placing her hand on Tobias' shoulder "You need to let her go. She's not coming back."

"Don't say that." Tobias says with anger in his voice.

Tobias marches past Christina and heads downstairs to the door and leaves. He slams the door hard and it echoes all through the halls and up the stair case. It sounds like a bomb just went off. I wouldn't be surprised if he broke the door.

Christina flinches at the sound of the door slamming and yells "Tobias!Wait!" She runs downstairs and heads out the door following behind him.

I sigh and decide to follow them. I want ot see despirately what happens next.

When I get out the door,they're nowhere to be seen. I try to remember what Uriah told me about tracking people until it finally comes to me. I close my eyes and concentrate on Tobias and only Tobias. I try to forget everything that is going on that doesn't involve only him until I can sense his location. He's going to the Hancock Building. My eyes shoot open when I realise what he's about to do.

Tobias is going to kill himself.
