Elana P.O.V
I had to walk away from Diggy for a minute. I wasn't really mad at him. I just hate the fact that he has to be doing tours and stuff this summer. One thing Mr. Shultz told me to do was make 5 goals for the rest of the school year and at the top of my list was spend summer with Daniel. All those other goals were something I could easily manage to do. Maybe it's good that he told me this now before I got my hopes up higher. I turned around to see if Diggy was following me. He was going the other way instead. With the opportunity in my hands I dashed for the park exit and went a different route to leave the community. I had a place to go.

I stopped chasing after Elana figuring she wanted to be alone. On the way back to Twist and Tristen I ate the rest of my ice cream. I wiped my hand with the napkin Elana gave to me. I climbed on top of the bench table and sat down. Tristen and Twist looked at me in confusion.
"Where's Elana?" Tristen wiped her hands.
"She walked away from me upset about the shows. She's somewhere in this park. I know she'll come back." I placed my hands on the table and used it as a support system as I leaned back.
Tristen's eyes wondered around the park like she was searching. Before I knew it I was looking around too. Tristen narrowed her eyes just a little bit and continued scanning the park. I sat up straight and looked towards the playground at the jolly kids and people playing.
"Shit!" Tristen yelled as she jumped off the table.
Tristen and Elana don't really have bad language. Unless they get really upset or something happens. I hopped off the table in panic mode.
"What?" I watched her throw her lip gloss and wallet in her purse. Twist grabbed Tristen's left shoulder and gave it a small pull so she could face him. But instead she yanks his hand off her shoulder and place her purse strap there.
"Listen; don't follow me. Stay here. Just in case she happens to come back. The date? Don't worry about it. We'll be back in time for the movies in fact you can pick us up." She raised her eyebrows as she spoke.
A quick okay seeped from my mouth and she ran towards the exit letting us know this is real. Twist and I looked at each other still in shock from the curse word that randomly spewed from her mouth.

My flip flops made a flapping noise against the sidewalk as I dove towards the community exit/entrance. My heart raced as I tried to catch up to my best friend. I had to lead Diggy and Twist behind because they really don't understand the whole concept of "Alone" and feeling "Lonely". Plus they would just possibly make it worse...well Diggy he probably wouldn't but I'm not taking chances. I pulled up my romper and finally reached the exit of the community. Out of breath I started walking. I hope she doesn't do something stupid.

Luckily I left just in time to make it to the bus stop where the bus gladly waited for me to get on and pay. I decided to go downtown to a small flower shop. I like this shop a lot and I use to come in there and look at the beautiful flowers. They had planted some new ones and I got to help water them. Now they sit prettily in a garden. I walked inside and looked at the wide variety of flowers. I wanted roses. I picked up a dozen roses and paid for them. I smiled at the cashier and left the building gently holding the flowers.

I called Elana hoping for answer but once again no Elana. I hope she knows she slowly kills me inside. Her running off like that is something she hasn't done in a long time. So my mind can't come up with any solutions on where she could be or who she would be with. I can't go home and I know Iris is with Khalil so it's a little bit harder.
