I checked into my room. I placed a photo of Elana and I on the table next to the bed. Sometimes I feel like no one understands how much I love her. Our relationship was on thin ice those last couple of weeks but it’s returning to safe waters now. I remember before all this happened and our relationship was perfect.

Diggy’s flashback----

“You have a cute hairline you know that?” Elana stood behind me as I got ready for a flight to North Carolina.

“I keep it groomed.” I brushed my hair.

She wrapped her arms around my waist and stared into the mirror.

“When are we going to go to Hawaii; like you promised?” She smiled.

I sighed. “I’ve been so busy these last few months. I know I promised but time is a little tight.” I put my brush back in the drawer.

She frowned a little and held me tighter.

“I’m sorry.” I told her,

She didn’t respond. She looked at our reflection and smiled. She switched from behind me to in front of me. My arms now wrapped around her. We looked in the reflection and just stood there.

“This would be a perfect picture.” I smiled pulling out my phone.

“Yeah but years from now I don’t want to remember it as a bathroom pic. I rather take a perfect picture with the perfect boy in a perfect place.” She turned towards me.

“I’mma miss your face.” Elana smiled.

“I’m going to miss yours too.” I kissed her.

“Dig time to go!” I heard Perry’s voice.

I gave Elana a hug and a kiss before going downstairs to say goodbye to my mom. When I came back upstairs Elana was gone.

“Elana! Please don’t be sad. I’m coming back soon love.” I grabbed my two remaining luggage.

“Elana please don’t be this way.” I started to get sad.

I picked up my suitcase but as I tried to grab the other luggage bag; it was heavy.

“Elana you can’t just be putting extra clothes in luggage for just in case reasons.” I mumbled to myself.

I opened the luggage bag and there appeared Elana tucked in snug. I laughed and pulled her out.

“Take me with you.” She smiled.

“Not this time.” I re-zipped the bag and kissed Elana. Her eyes glistened in mine.

“I love you.” She smiled.

“I love you too.” I smacked her butt.

“Don’t miss your flight.” She grin glowed as she walked out.

“Mr. Simmons are you ready for your workout?” The trainer came in.

“Yeah.”

“Okay meet me in the gym.” He closed the door and I got up from bed.

“I’m doing this for you babe.” I kissed two of my fingers and placed them on the glass where her face was.

After last night, I was done. I was tired of all the fighting and the arguing. I was tired of the whole Elana thing and the whole Terra thing. I wanted to go home. This was supposed to be a cool birthday trip for Elana but instead its drama.
