I followed Khalil out of my bedroom. He still looked a little worried but stopped me in the hall.

“Just a heads up Diggy is doing some multi-personality stuff. I don’t know what that’s all about.” Khalil started to walk down the steps.

“Ugh can he not?” I followed behind him. Everyone else waited by the front entrance.

“You ready to go Elana?” Diggy asked me as I approached.

“Yeah as long as you don’t do that plan that you were going to try on me. That’s not going to work just confuse me.” I straight faced Diggy.

“Oh…”He said.

The chauffeurs opened the doors for us. We all got into two separate trucks. The chauffeurs pulled out of the driveway and out onto the warm roads of Malibu. We arrived at the boardwalk. It was crowded and super hot outside. Diggy grabbed me playfully and swung me around.

“So we have about 1 hour and 30 minutes to ourselves; what do you want to do?” He put me down gently.

“Let’s go walk around.” I interlocked my arms into Diggy’s.

We walked away from the group and looked at the water. It was glistening in the warm sun of California.

“It’s beautiful out here.” Diggy smiled.

“I know right.” I put the sun shades down over my eyes.

We came across a photo booth.

“Aye let’s take some photos.” I opened the curtain.

Diggy got in and fixed the settings on the machine before wrapping his arms around me.

We made silly faces and giggled as our pictures came out. I placed them in my purse and we continued walking down the boardwalk.

Tristen P.O.V

I waited impatiently for Terra to get a pretzel. She wanted to make sure it was precise. It didn’t really matter in my opinion because all she was going to do was shove it in her mouth anyway. After she finally got her pretzel she slowly walked over to me.

“Sorry girl but the man couldn’t get it right for nothing.” She took a big bite of her pretzel.

“Well come on Twist is probably waiting for us.” I started walking.

“Speaking of Twist, where is that girlfriend of his? That’s pretty selfish of her not to come at the last minute. I guess it’s nice you came along since you are his best friend.” She said.

“Twist said his girlfriend didn’t come?” I raised my eyebrows.

“Yes.” She gobbled down her remainder pretzel as Twist walked over.

I gave him a dirty look.

“Oh ya’ll look a sunglasses hut. I’m about to go in there ya’ll wait here.” She ran off.

“So Twist I’m your best friend now or I didn’t come on this trip; which lie is it?” I folded my arms.

“Look I didn’t want to tell Terra about you yet because she is very judgmental and protective when it comes to me dating other females. None of them meet her standards.” He explained.

“I’m not trying to meet her standards she not my man. You are and I expect you to tell her what’s up.” I raised my voice.

“Alright I’ll tell her soon but not now. Today’s our first day of vacation and I want it to be fun.” He kissed me gently down my neck and Terra came rushing out causing him to quickly pull away.
