"Nozomi's Welcome"

Kai's Pov

We was walking back to Konoha. We was 3/4 there and I heard a voice call for me. 'Yes, Minato, Kushina?' 'I have a big favor to ask you. Kushina  asked 'Well what is it?' 'I've always wanted a some sort of guardian for Naruto. Like someone to keep him in check. Well...can you be his guardian?  Kushina asked. 'YASSS wait-' 'Kushina, honey, she needs to be a Jonin to be a guardian. Minato stated.'

'How about I just tell Grandpa Hokage, and I'll tell him how I can summon you guys and let you explain. I have to go to him anyway for my little sister. I explained to them.' 'I told you, Fugaku she's smarter than me! Now where is my 5 dollars? My mom said.'  'I'm suspecting that you went through this before too, mother. I said'

'Well we have a plan. Thank you so much niece. That means so much to me and Kushina. Minato said.'

------Time skip------

It was extremely early in the morning I wonder how I didn't pass out. Probably from the cotton candy. I looked at the others. Naruto looked like one more minute of walking he'll fall asleep, same for Sakura. Duckbutt looks, fine so does my dad. I then looked ahead and saw the Hidden Leaf Gates. Yessss.

We then arrived at the gates I saw Izumo and Kotetsu asleep. 'I'm not surprised. My mom said.' 'Me either.'

Time to scare them, yay! "IZUMO! KOTETSU! THE VILLAGE HAVE BEEN AMBUSHED!!" I yelled in a masculine voice. They jolted up screaming like little girls. Naruto and Sakura was laughing at the small prank I did.

"I'm sorry, guys. She just saw you sleep so she had to." My dad apologized for me. They both glared at me it then turned soft. I felt Nozomi pop her head out. "Whose the kid?" Izumo asked.

I sat my backpack down and grabbed the small child then put my backpack back on. I held her like a baby doll. My hands was under her armpits. I straightened both of my arms so they can get a closer look. "This is Nozomi I found and she didn't have no family or home, so now her new name is Nozomi Hatake." I explained.

They both got up out of their booth and walked towards me and her. "Aww she's so adorable!" Kotetsu said grabbing her out of my arms. "Hey give her back!" I said. Kotetsu held her higher in the air. She whimpered. She either don't like heights or strangers or both. "See if you can reach it shorty." Kotetsu said. I then started jumping trying to reach her.
Kotetsu was staring at something. Oh well, I'm trying to get my sister.

"Izumo catch!" Kotetsu yelled with blood dripping from his nose. 'He was totally looking at your chest you better beat him to a pulp! My mom yelled.'
'I have to get Nozomi back.'

Kotetsu then handed Nozomi towards Izumo. "Give her back, believe it!" Naruto said. Izumo held Nozomi as high as Kotetsu did. I heard another small whimper from Nozomi. 'She's scared.' I then started jumping up and down to reach her. Izumo then fell with blood dripping rom his nose too.

Sasuke then caught Nozomi who was falling through the air. He then put her down and she scrambled to me and hid behind my leg. "Come on, Nozomi. Wanna meet my team?" I asked the small child.

She then shook her head no really fast. I bent down to her height. "You have to. You're gonna have to enroll into the academy anyway. If you cant meet 3 people how can you meet a whole class?" I asked. I got up and put her in front of me. "Nozomi, this is my team." I said.

"I'm, Sakura Haruno." Sakura said waving. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki! I'm going to become Hokage! Believe it!" Naruto yelled coming close to Nozomi's face.
She scrambled behind my leg again. "Naruto, you're too loud." I scolded softly. "Come out, Nozomi." I said.

She then came out. Naruto bent down to her height. "H-Hi." She said. Naruto smiled. She then put her small hands on Naruto's face. "W-W-Whiskers. Are y-you a kitty?!" Nozomi asked happily. "No I'm not a kitty." Naruto said. She put her head down looking like she was going to cry.

"Naruto." I whispered yelled. Naruto then freaked out. "I-I-I am a kitty, Nozomi." Naruto said. "R-Really?" She said. "Y-Yeah. You can pet me and everything." Naruto said. "You still didn't meet Duckass and my dad." I said. "A-Ass?" Nozomi repeated. "No, no, no, no don't repeat after me." I freaked out.

"Sasuke Uchiha. Hn." Sasuke said. "W-Why does his h-hair looks like a d-d-duck's butt?" She asked softly. Sasuke earned an irk mark on his head. Me and Naruto started laughing. "Feel free to call him Duckbutt." I said. "D-Duckbutt!!" She yelled cutely. "I'm so sorry but," Sakura then squashed her in a hug. "You're so adorable." She then released her.

"And that's our dad." I said to Nozomi. She ran to my dad and hugged his leg. He then looked down at her and ruffled her hair and then picked her up on his shoulder's. "Everyone is welcome to go home and rest you guys have done well today. Later on I'll report to the Hokage about the mission." My dad said.
