I close my eyes and feel the soft breeze. Today is the day. I laugh at the stupidity I thought last night, of not coming. I have to, why wouldn't I? Nerves. Today is the day I marry the love of my life. Ash Broden. We decided I'd change my name, as well as Mya's to Borden. I mean, he is the closest to a father Mya has ever had. And the love of my life.
I look in the mirror and see my light brown hair down and curled, with a flower crown over. The lilac flowers bring out the green in my eyes, and makes them pop like a go light. My makeup is light, no foundation, just a nude lipstick and eye shadow and of course my eyebrows are done.
I look down to see my dress. It is simple, a sweetheart loose yet not. It's white with rhinestones on the top. I remember when I saw this and tried it on, I thought it was awesome. What really made me get it? Mya looked at me and said; "Mama you look like an angle." By shoes are cowgirl boots. I wouldn't wear heels. Besides, we are getting married on the field.
"Wow." I hear. I turn around to see Amy in the doorway. "Close the door before Ash sees me." "You really believe in that?" She laughs. "Not the it's bad luck part, I just love to see the groom's reactions when the bride walks down the isle." "Tana, I want to let you know, I love you like a daughter, and I you can call me Mom if you'd like." "I love you too, and I will. You've done so much for me and Mya and I don't know how I'll ever pay you back." I say, holding her hands In mine. "You can, by taking care of Ash." I smile at this, and a tear starts to fall. "Don't cry." Am.. Mom wipes a tear. "God you're beautiful." She says, holding my face. I can't stop smiling.
It is now 4:25, 5 minutes until I walk down the isle. Since my father isn't here, I asked Ty, or now my Dad to walk me down the isle. "Ready?" He asks. "Ya, I am." I see all my bridesmaids, fixing their hair. Lot, Georgie, Emily, Mom, and my maid of honor, Mya.
The song plays, I Will Always Love You coved by Dolly Parton. One by one, the bridesmaids walk down the isle, with their selected groomsmen. "Let's go." Dad says. We turn the corner, and I see everyone. They are all standing looking at me, but I'm only looking at Ash. A tear escapes his eyes, but he wipes it away. Flame and Nebraska on either side of the arch.
"Have fun." Ty says, putting my hands in Ash's, and sitting down. I give my flowers to Mya, and look back at Ash. Jack is the officiating the wedding.
"Now, Ash will you please read your vows?" Jack says, after saying his part.
"Tana, I remember the day you came to HeartLand. You looked so scared. I remember when you told me about Mya. I just thought of you as some scared girl who when through stuff than. But, that first day of school for you, when you jumped Nebraska over that fence, everything disappeared. You went domes scared, vulnerable girl. You were a happy, brave women. It was the first time I saw you truly happy. I knew I loved you then. I know I'll love you forever. I know I'll take care of you, and Mya every day. I'll do anything for you two. Anything. Words can't explain how much I love you two, it's like love isn't a big enough word for it. I just can't wait to call Mya my daughter, and you my Wife."
"Tana, please read your vows." Jack says, tearfully.
"Ash, you are such an amazing guy. You are funny, sweet, caring, an amazing father to Mya, and just an awesome person overall. My favorite memory with us, is that day your parents were out of town. You slept on the floor because you didn't want to sleep away from me, and you wouldn't let me sleep on the floor. The next day what my birthday, and you got me a promise right. A day I'll never forget. I don't know what I'd do without you. I wouldn't have Mya, and I wouldn't be as happy as I am right now. I love you and I always will."
"Without further ado, I show you, Mr and Mrs, Borden. You may kiss the bride." Jack says. And we do. "Officially married." I whisper after we pull apart. "Together forever."

Hey,
Thought I should do that. Should I do a sequel to this?
