Izuku Midoriya was a young kid when his mother had decided to bring him to a doctor to figure out whether a quirk would manifest. The mother and son duo were ecstatic when they found out he would develop one. Sadly while they were still celebrating the doctor mentioned something that caused the cheering to stop. "I don't think you understand, I said he has developed a quirk but unfortunately it seems it could be a quirk that doesn't show any symptoms or are insignificant." The doctor said as tears form in Izuku's eyes.

When they returned to their house Izuku watched his favorite video of when All-Might first began his hero career. "Mom I can still be a hero right even though I have an insignificant quirk?" Izuku's mom collapsed hugging the crying child and apologizing.

Izuku spent the next 10 years being bullied by people who had been friends to him. They all made fun of the fact that his quirk hadn't and visible effects. They deemed him basically quirkless which made Izuku slowly become anti-social. One day after a particularly bad day where his childhood friend Bakugo Katsuki had told him if he wanted a useful quirk he should die and hope for one in the next life.

Izuku walked home the long way and while he was crossing under a bridge he heard a sewer grate open he turned around and saw a slime villain charging him. Izuku couldn't do anything as the slime villain began wrapping around him slowly beginning to suffocate. Izuku was thinking back through his life as he was sure this was his death, he remembered his wanting to become a hero. This was followed by all of the negative comments by his classmates and his former friend Bakugo.

A purple light began shining as Izuku passed out. All of a sudden Izuku was standing face to face with Bakugo. "You have no fucking right to be a hero without a quirk. If you want to be a hero so bad try taking a swan dive from the roof and maybe you will get lucky and get a quirk in the next life." Bakugo finishes saying as he then grabs a notebook out of Izuku's bag and burns it. Izuku looked confused this notebook didn't look familiar to him but he felt like it had been important.

Izuku found himself drifting towards the roof of the school, he stood on the edge of the roof. "It is a long fall. Maybe Bakugo is right what right do I have as a quirkless nobody to try and be a hero." Izuku felt he wasn't in control of what he was saying. Izuku thought to himself. "I'm not quirkless I do have one but everyone knew that."  Izuku without control of his actions jumped from the roof, as he fell he saw his life flash but it wasn't his life. It was memories of someone who had a near identical childhood as him except he had been born completely without a quirk.

Izuku was still slightly conscious when someone approached his now mangled body, and he recognized it as Bakugo. "Stupid Deku I can't believe he actually jumped, how would he think I was serious." Izuku decided it was best to seem unconscious. He was dropped off at his front door and then the doorbell rang before he was found by his mother.

Suddenly he awoke from the feeling of many small slaps. "Young Lad.... Young Lad..... I see your awake I was getting worried there for a moment. I apprehended the villain that had nearly killed you but I had to make sure you were okay." Izuku backed away scared as he was confused he had just been in front of his house but now he was back to that bridge being helped by All-Might.

"All-Might sir, I have a question. Even if I have a seemingly useless quirk can I still become a hero?" All-Might seemed to think. "Well I don't see why not it would be difficult but using support items I think you could be a great hero." Izuku smiled, before looking down. "Thank you sir." All-Might then jumped away and before heading the rest of the way home Izuku sat down.

"WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!?" Izuku was thinking through the dream he had while knocked out by that villain. "Bakugo caring about me after telling me to kill myself and why wouldn't I of awoken during the jump." Izuku was confused but began walking home. On his way home he felt pain in his entire body but he thought it was from the villain attack.

He got home where his mom was waiting for him. "Izuku why are you home so late?" Inko asked, the boy who looked at his watch it read 5:23 and he realized he was almost an hour later than usual. "I'm so sorry mom I guess I just lost track of time." Inko smiled, "Well be glad you got home before I finished dinner I made your favorite."

Izuku went to bed that night and his dream began again.

"W-where am i?" Izuku asked groaning from pain, a man in a white coat looked at him surprised. "Well you're in a hospital you've been in critical condition for the past 2 weeks. In fact you just began going into stable condition over the past 2 days. If it weren't for the healing quirks of our staff you would be dead." After saying this he opens the door and motions that people may enter. His mother walked in with his aunt who happened to be Bakugo's mother.

"MY POOR BABY!! How are you feeling? Do you remember what happened? Was it a villain?" Izuku smiles with tears in his eyes he has no idea why this happened but all he could manage to say while she was there was "I'm sorry." The face she had when she left the room was stricken with guilt but he knew she had no reason to be guilty. He decided to try and sleep to heal more before he would leave this hospital.

Izuku shot up in bed sweat dripping down his body. "What the hell is this dream." he said, his soreness from earlier had disappeared. He looked at his clock and saw he only had an hour before he would of awoken. "I guess I can use the extra hour to study for the U.A entrance exam.

The exam would be coming up in a few months but without a quirk he would have to try his best to get perfect on the written portion. He had a hard time learning all the material as he tried not to sleep or he would drift into a weird dream.

He began writing a journal about what his dreams contained.

1st entry

I have decided to write down my dreams as it seems to have multiple instances of a continuing dream.

The first dream had a version of me who had been quirkless but seemingly had depression as he attempted suicide from a roof after Kacchan told him to. It continued so far into awaking in a hospital where his mother had been worried.

I hope that this dream doesn't continue too much. I will continue to update depending on what dreams come to light.
