The second round was announced as a cavalry battle, it was an interesting battle with Izuku's team almost losing but thanks to Tokoyami they had managed to be within the top 4 of the groups. (I just don't want to write the cavalry battle as I feel at this point Ive written it in all the ways I enjoyed.)

The next round would be a tournament battle with a series of one vs one battles. The brackets had been announced and quickly Izuku began panicking as he knew nothing about his opponent. Izuku was getting ready for his battle and knew his power would be stronger than most of the others the only ones he believed that would rival him would be Bakugo and Todoroki.

Izuku Midoriya vs Hitoshi Shinso

Hanta Sero vs Shoto Todoroki

Denki Kaminari vs Ibara Shiozaki

Tenya Iida vs Mei Hatsume

Yuga Aoyama vs Mina Ashido

Fumikage Tokoyami vs Momo Yaoyorozu

Eijiro Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu

Katsuki Bakugo vs Ochaco Uraraka

Izuku knew he would be the first fight but had no idea about who his opponent was really. He couldn't place a face or quirk but he would win no matter what, he owed it to himself to win knowing his mother would of been routing for him.

When it came time for the first round Izuku approached the ring and saw his opponent, a seemingly sleep deprived student who had a determination that he knew all to well. He got into his fighting stance and was prepared to attack as soon as the match began. As soon as the match Izuku rushed at his opponent who just started talking, Izuku couldn't quite make it out but decided to hear the kid out.

"So the great class 1-A you all have quite the reputation but they didn't tell us about which kid wasn't able to save their own mother from a villain attack and was hoping you could tell me." Izuku heard the kid mention his mother and stopped his rush. "Would you care to say that again I didn't hear..." He could no longer move and felt the prying into his mind and the last thing he was sure of was the smile that had crept on his opponent's face. "Well this fight is over, kindly walk of the edge." Shinso said and Izuku's body immediately turned around and begun walking to the edge.

Izuku couldn't control himself but he could feel the tension in his body that was building from his attempted resistance. It might be his only chance and it was going to hurt like a bitch, but he kept struggling to create more tension. He was on a time limit he only had the amount of time it took to get to the edge but he felt his limit coming quickly. Izuku then stopped struggling to release the tension. There was an explosion of shockwaves that erupted from the boy that flung dust into the air thick enough to block sightlines from the judges and the audience.

As the dust cleared there stood Izuku back in his starting position but his left arm hanging at his side limp with severe discolouring. The muscle had been ripped from the bone only being held in place by his skin, Izuku was in evident pain that people could not understand. Izuku still smiled. "Would you like to say what you said again bitch." Izuku lunged at his opponent lightning covering his arm that was still functioning and quickly stopped in front of Shinso's face before throwing a kick into his gut. Izuku continued his beatdown with a few more kicks and then throwing a punch into Shinso's chest that then got electrified by Izuku's lightning.

This rendered Shinso unconscious as he fell to his face in the ring and Izuku just fell to his knees and screamed in victory. He was quickly rushed to the infirmary to make sure his arm wouldn't be permanently damaged. It turned out that he could be healed but it wouldn't quite be the same as reattaching muscles was hard to do for even the best doctors but to fully repair it to the point it was before the severance would be impossible.
