That night Izuku felt himself slipping into dreams and he was prepared to get a new power but this time he seemingly went back in time through the dream. He was back to when Bakugo was attacked by the sludge villain but he noticed something off he didn't have any experience with this but he felt like he knew it happened already. He began walking home as that seemed like the right thing to do.
He arrived at his home and saw plenty of cops and he felt a pang of dread envelop him. "Are you Izuku Midoriya?" Izuku nodded terrified of why they were looking for him. "I'm sorry that we had to inform you of this but your mother she... she has passed on." Izuku broke he couldn't understand why this was happening but suddenly he jolted awake. He was breathing heavy and noticed he had class in a few hours.
That morning before he left he made sure his mother was still there and to his relief she was. He got to class and there All-Might arrived and explained that the class would be a team fighting exercise. Izuku was scared as he had still yet to really make any friends but he did at least know that girl from the entrance exam. Teams were being made randomly, Izuku's one hope was that he wouldn't be on Bakugo's team and that he wouldn't fight Bakugo. It's not that he didn't think he could beat him but he was worried Bakugo would do absolutely anything to win, and he didn't think he wanted to fight that.
The team that was made was him an Uraraka Ochako who happened to be the girl from the entrance exam so he was at least glad he had her, what he was not happy about was that he was against Bakugo. They had a bit of time to plan before the match would start, the goal was to get the bomb that was somewhere in the building and touch it or by restraining both villains. Izuku knew Bakugo wouldn't stay put and protect the bomb because they were against each other but the other guy Iida he didn't really know other than that he was a really stickler for rules so he would probably stay at the bomb site.
"Uraraka so planwise I don't really know what we should do but I know Bakugo is going to come after us as soon as we enter since he has a complex about me or something. So I say our best chance is for me to distract him while you get to the bomb and then we will kinda wing it." Uraraka was kinda upset that part if the plan was to wing it but she understood that they couldn't really figure out how the match was going to go.
Shortly after the match began and Izuku and Uraraka started going into the building and looking around they wandered for a little bit before they started hearing explosions and someone yelling Deku. "Well looks like it's time for us to split up." Izuku began running towards the sound of the explosions and nearly ran right into Bakugo who quickly unleashed an explosion at Izuku who took the brunt of it head on pushing him onto the ground. Izuku creates his cloak and begins creating his scythe but got a punch into his chest before it appeared causing him to be unable to summon the scythe. Izuku got up and felt his cloak disappearing fast him unable to keep it from disappearing since he still didn't quite have it fully figured out. Izuku held up his hands towards Bakugo.
"Kacchan I don't want to fight you but I will if you keep trying to attack me and after all we both know I can take a lot from your quirk." Izuku says clenching hoping to unleash a powerful shockwave to knock him down and hopefully stun him enough to get the restraining tape on him. This was too hopeful for Izuku as Bakugo just unleashed a volley of explosions that rocked Izuku and left him with burn marks all over his clothing and evident burns on his actual skin.
Izuku stood up in a large amount of pain before smirking. "So be it..." Izuku held up his hands in the shape of guns and began firing small shockwaves that were more of a precision hit than a powerful hit. This was more effective than he thought it would be since he was unleashing so many small shockwaves into the same spot it was doing some evident damage as Bakugo started breathing heavy after having pressure points pinpoint targeted with the compressed air.
"DEKU YOU BETTER DODGE THIS IF YOU DON'T WANNA DIE!!!" Bakugo held up his grenade gauntlet and pulled the pin Releasing a massive explosion, Izuku panicked and released a massive shockwave to try and lessen the impact but quickly felt his muscles ripping apart as the building had chunks blown off and the sounds of his muscles ripping was heard even in the bomb room giving enough of a distraction for Uraraka to touch the bomb.
When they got to the boy they found Bakugo slumped against a wall but his injuries were minor minus the concussion he suffered but Izuku looked to be in terrible condition his muscles were convulsing on the bone while he was unconscious the random convulsions causing violent seizures that caused more shockwaves to be released at random times preventing him from being carried by anyone but All-Might in fears of another big shockwave.
Izuku spent the next couple hours in the Infirmary before he awoke almost fully healed but sore they were shocked as he felt drained but recovery girl hadn't tried to heal him yet as she was worried about his stamina being to drained. He got up and felt the drain from whatever healed him but once again felt the tingling he had the last time his muscles had been damaged but he began understanding he had a healing quirk from one of his dreams but it was an underlying quirk so he didn't notice until now.
The teachers came to see him once he had gotten the go ahead to leave and they asked whether he wanted to participate in class the next day as they understood he may need more time to recuperate. Izuku declined the offer to take a break and decided he needed to train more so that he wouldn't destroy himself under his power and to get a better handle on the use of his other quirks.
He spent that night trying to figure out the powers he had until he passed out from exhaustion and once again drifted into the dreamworld. This time it felt different he was fully aware and seemingly in control but he was in a black room with no windows or doors just a floating orb in the middle that glowed with an electrical aura that differed in shades of black and white. He approached the orb and went to touch it but felt a burning sensation when he got close. He decided to try and take the pain and when he managed to actually touch it he seemingly got teleported into a big domed area. He looked around and saw his classmates looking in horror, Aizawa on the ground with a patch removed from his elbow and blood pooling around him but he was definitely still alive at least for now. He saw All-Might in a sort of limbo with a big black and purple monster that had his hand in his side. Izuku couldn't help but look around and saw a person covered in hands reaching towards the frog girl he remembers her name being Asui Tsuyu.
Izuku felt a rage building up inside him and he goes to grab Tsuyu but the other guy was too fast and blood starts flowing from where the man was grabbing and Tsuyu who had been struggling seemingly just stops and goes limp Izuku understands what this meant and falls to his knees feeling something but before anything else happens he shoots awake for the second day in a row having a few hours before he would leave for school.
"Damn it why do I keep having these dreams. They are way to vivid and everything feels to real." He looks around his room and noticed that objects had been shifted and he guessed he probably released some shockwaves in his sleep after his nightmare. He still couldn't figure it out but he knew the dreams had to be more important than just more quirks he may or may not get.
He has begun questioning his power it'll only be a matter of time before we meet.
