Izuku and Amestra entered the arena where the fight would take place and saw the other two waiting there already.

"For this exhibition match there will be two teams and now we will see the teams." The announcer pointed to the monitor that had lit up and the pictures of the four competitors showed up and began rotating. The four competitors watched as the portraits began to slow and the teams decided.

Kyle looked to the monitor and saw his fear realized. "Those two better realize the gap in ability. I hope that they understand it would be easier for them to surrender."

Izuku saw as the teams were decided. He and Amestra wouldn't be fighting each other but this would be interesting getting to be her teammate. The other two just smiled as each combatant was brought to their side.

"The match between Amestra and Izuku vs Raphael and Ivorith will now begin." Izuku immediately launched a bolt of lightning at Raphael, Raphael smiled as he charged at the lightning and stuck out an arm as the bolt of lightning wrapped around his arm and he redirected it to Amestra who had begun charging at Ivorith.

Amestra received the bolt into her side as it sent her flying to the side. Raphael laughed, "This is supposed to be a team battle not a free for all. How could you attack your ally." Amsestra heard this and looked at Izuku accusingly.

Izuku nodded no and then said. "That guy managed to redirect my lightning somehow." Amestra then realized that she knew who these two were just not by their actual names. "IZUKU I think I know their quirks and if I am right this is a terrible match for us. The one you attacked has the ability to redirect any energy attack so the only chance you have is to hit him physically. The other one if I am right...." Suddenly Amestra went flying backwards without either of their opponents moving.

Izuku looked confused before activating his energy cloak in an extra attempt at defense. Izuku then felt as the guy he attacked rushed him, he went to put up his arms to block the attack but suddenly he couldn't move and took the punch square to the face as he got knocked to the ground.

Izuku got up and saw his opponents converging on Amestra who now had a pair of brass knuckles on each hand to try and fight them. Izuku could see that she couldn't do anything it was like she was frozen whenever she could of landed a hit.

He launched himself towards the one he hadn't fought yet to try and figure out his quirk, but as he got close he felt as he could no longer move again. Izuku tried to look around but couldn't even turn his head.

"You have zero chance of beating us kid. We have seen how you fight and frankly your an amateur in a league of professionals." The man slowly walked to him. "I'll give you a hint about my power not that you can do anything about it. I control shadows and that means any action you do I can stop by forcing your shadow to stay in one place." He puts a finger on Izuku's cheek and then pushes until there was a little blood.

Izuku then thought of something as he was let go from the mans quirk. Izuku began creating pillars of ice throughout the arena. His opponents just stood there as the pillars showed up and then he cut his view of his opponents with another pillar.

He thought to himself. "Doesn't matter if they can control shadows if they don't know where they are." Izuku began running between the pillars until he found Amestra still down but still awake.

"Hey are you okay they have some troublesome quirks eh." Izuku chuckled before he suddenly felt as Amestra lunged at him. He launched himself back as he realized what happened. "Amestra we need to stay apart otherwise we will end up killing each other."

Izuku ran around and then saw that maybe he was wrong that they had to see the shadows. It was then that he felt the cold as he was flung into an ice pillar. "Fuck that's getting annoying."

Izuku had run out of ideas, they seemed like a perfect counter as a team. Then he realized maybe it wasn't impossible to win but he needed to get Amestra to figure his plan out.

He realized if they heard him he would lose any chance of success. He then began to creat even more pillars and hoped he would be able to show Amestra his plan. He broke a pillar then threw it into the air and shot it with a shockwave and it created a fine mist that disappeared almost immediately.

He wasn't sure she had seen it but then he noticed as a mist appeared at the other side of the arena along with the sounds of a weapon that he hoped was a flamethrower.

As the mist began enveloping the rest of the arena Izuku smiled and ran into the mist and began firing lightning in the last location he saw Raphael. Then he got the exact thing he was hoping for in the form of a bolt of lightning coming back at him which he managed to dodge.

Izuku charged at the direction the bolt had come from and shortly came face to face with Raphael. He threw a punch towards the unsuspecting man who went to block it but suddenly was knocked off his feet which Izuku assumed was Amestra and continyed to punch towards the mans face. The man landed with a thud before trying to throw a sweeping kick back at the source of his own fall.

Izuku chuckled as he created a few clones to beat on the man until it was obvious he had fallen unconscious.

The mist began dissioating as the two rookies stood over the now unconscious Raphael. Ivorith saw them and laughed. "Well it is about time someone figured a counter out but it won't help you now." Amestra suddenly was launched at Izuku who could no longer move and was forcex to take the attack from his teammate who was unable to stop her attack.

As it landed Izuku noticed he had landed a blow of his own on Amestra who slumped over unconscious assumingly exhausted from fights Izuku hadn't been able to help with.

Izuku stood there breathing heavily before the man walked up to him and punched him in the face knocking him to the ground. The last thing Izuku heard before his vision blackened was. "All for One sends his regards."
