Chapter 20: Big Three Big Threat

The few days of house arrest were pretty uneventful they just cleaned when they had nothing to do. Izuku had one less day than Bakugo even though Bakugo had been beaten up. Izuku was taking out the trash on his final day of house arrest before he would be returning to school when he heard a voice coming from the wall it seemed. 

"Trash right? The food trays are okay to go in the combustible trash got it?" Izuku was freaking out slightly about the face partially sticking out of the wall before it disappeared but shortly reappeared on the ground. "You're one of the lively first years right?" 

Izuku was so surprised he just screamed. "Oh did I surprise you? That's good because you did a bad thing." Izuku still freaking out just said. "Who are you? What are you?" The head was quick to respond. "Indeed, what am I? You will just have to find out soon enough." After the head finished that statement he disappeared. 

Izuku was confused at this interaction, after he had thrown away the trash he began heading towards Aizawa's office. "Aizawa-Sensei I'm sorry for the inconvenience I caused I promise I won't do it again." Aizawa wrapped his scarf partially around Midoriya. "Izuku we both know that isn't true so please try not to lie to my face." Izuku bowed and apologized more before returning to his room and got ready to go to sleep. 

The next day Izuku was working towards keeping up with the lesson that day while also copying the lessons from what he missed when Aizawa mentioned that they had some special guests coming into class today. Izuku sat up and began looking towards the door and saw as three students walked through the door and he saw the face of the person he had interacted with just the night before. 

"These three are the top students of the third year course also known as the big three. First is Nejire Hado followed by Tamaki Amajiki and finally Mirio Togato." Izuku remembered why the face had looked familiar now he recognized him from a sports festival a few years prior who hadn't done well but had the ability to phase through objects. 

"I want to fight them all." Mirio mentioned as soon as he got a good look at the entire class 1-A except Bakugo. The class was shocked especially when Aizawa agreed to let it happen. Everyone went down to the gym which was empty. "Mirio try not to hurt them too bad... Got it?" Aizawa said. 

Mirio got into a fighting stance at a distance from the class. Izuku knew that he could phase through things so he was ready to see an attack from below but when the match started he just stood there as the classes long range quirk users unleashed in that direction. 

A moment later they heard a scream from Jiro who when everyone turned around had Mirio naked in front of her. "Shit can he teleport?" Izuku heard Kirishima say. Izuku stayed quiet cause he wanted a one on one fight since he believes it would be a good test of power. 

One by one every student was defeated with Izuku being the last standing. "So problem child why didn't you tell your class about my quirk?" Izuku smiled. "Well I don't think it would of helped after all you phase through everything don't you." Mirio who was already smiling began laughing. "Oh your so close but not close enough." 

Mirio ran at the boy and Izuku got ready to defend by coating himself in his blighted lightning. "Can't touch me if you don't wanna get zapped." Izuku said cockily as he was nervous about his plan. Mirio continued charging at the boy. Izuku tensed up in order to release a shockwave as soon as he lands a hit in order to cause more damage. Mirio then managed to land the hit on Izuku which didn't surprise Izuku initially until he noticed that he seemed like he hadn't been hit by the lightning. "Okay now I'm confused, how didn't my lightning hit you I was coated in it." 

Mirio landed one more hit and managed to knock Izuku out. When the students had all managed to wake back up Mirio explained his quirk. "My quirk allows me to become intangible meaning I have no mass. When I do this nothing can touch me including air, light or sound. I become like I am floating in nothingness. The reason I was able to hit you all while using my quirk is due to my ability to perfectly manage the portion of my body that is being affected down to singular molecules."

 Izuku had become fascinated by the man who had such precise control of a quirk that most would see as a terrible quirk but he managed to turn it into a very powerful quirk. It made Izuku think of how he could become even more powerful with his quirks.
