Izuku had recovered but was keeping to himself due to his lack of power. He knew the other power was now able to be tapped into but he didn't know how he had managed to do it. He had received a message from All-Might about wanting to talk soon. Izuku was unsure what he wanted to talk about but was a little worried.
Izuku wandered around since classes still haven't resumed but he had no idea what to do before he was supposed to meet up with All-Might. He decided to try and learn more about his power without being in a stressful situation. He struggled as no matter what he did he couldn't tap into it and it was getting to him just knowing he used it for one moment. It was almost time for him to meet up with All-Might so Izuku got ready for the meeting.
When he saw All-Might in his skeletal form he was unsure whether he was just tired or mad. "Young Midoriya where did you get that power you used in the fight against young Todoroki?" Izuku hesitated not knowing exactly how he got the power. "It kinda just was there one day like when I get my other quirks. I just can't tap into the power but somehow I did in my match with Todoroki." All-Might looked down, and sighed. "Young Midoriya the quirk you used seems similar if not the same as the quirk I have called One for All which I also wanted to give you soon." Izuku looks confused. "But giving quirks is impossible isn't it?"
All-Might looked at the young boy. "I guess I should tell you a tale of the origin of my quirk. Well near the beginning of when quirks had become common place a man whose quirk ended up being the ability to take away others quirks showed up but back then quirks were considered horrible so he offered to take the burden and quickly amassed a following of people he bestowed quirks onto. This man also had a brother who had been thought to of been born without a quirk but in reality he had been born with the quirk to give his quirk to another. His brother who had been wrong in the eyes of his quirkless brother continued to try and give him a quirk in order for him to join him. The quirk that he was given was called stockpile a quirk that allowed for the user to stockpile strength and release it. This quirk mixed with the younger brother's quirk and One for All was born. This quirk has been able to be passed down through the ingesting the holder's D.N.A." Izuku had heard similar stories about how there had been a point where those with a quirk sought out the means to get rid of it but he had no clue that people had ended up losing their quirk.
"So All-Might my other quirk I don't know how to activate seems to you like One for All? Also why did you want to pass off the quirk to me of all people?" Izuku asked confused as to why his idol had decided to give him the power. All-Might smiled at the boys awkwardness. "I chose you because I believe you are fit to become the next symbol of peace once I retire." With that All-Might pulls out a piece of his hair. "Now eat this and you will inherit my quirk." Izuku grabbed the piece of hair and kinda hesitated. "Isn't there an easier way?"
All-Might shook his head and smiled before Izuku ate the piece of hair. "Now Young Midoriya I want you to try and tap into that power you used against young Todoroki again." Izuku hesitated due to his inability over the past amount of time but this time it came easy, red cracks began forming in his skin and green lightning began sparking around his body.
"So my suspicions were correct, Young Midoriya you had One for All already but it wasn't fully activated so you were unable to tap into it consistently. Now that I gave you One for All it activated yours so you should now be able to tap into it whenever you want but keep aware of your limits. Currently I do not know how much of it you'll be able to tap into but my guess would be at least 5%. Be careful because should you exceed your limits you will break your bones and could cause permanent damage to your body." All-Might explained.
Izuku was unsure what would happen next but he and All-Might went separate ways after some time but both had questions about their meeting but neither had answers.
With this meeting Izuku Midoriya has begun to create a new tie with All-Might that I shall sever.
