"Ivel?" Erwin said, yawning as he got up from his sleeping position. He was sleeping but not on his bed. He was in his office, sleeping on his chair.

"I didn't know you had sleeping problems." Ivel who was sitting side ways on his usual chair, his legs hanging on the arm rest asked. In his hands held a book.

Erwin rubbed his eyes, shaking his head. "No, no. I just- It's just- Gah there's just too much to think about."

Ivel glanced over, giving Erwin a comforting look. "It's midnight. You should be in bed."

"And you?" Erwin laughed, readjusting his sitting position.

"Reading." Ivel answered, not lifting his eyes from the book he held in his hand.

"Oh really? You've read this book over and over again. You got to have finished the book by now." Erwin said in a joking manner but he was serious. Ivel read the same book over and over again every time. The captain kept silence, flipping a page of the book, clearly avoiding the question.

Erwin glanced over at the book. His office was like a library. There were so many books, he never had the time to read all of them. He'd seen Ivel read the same book over and over again but never bothered to find out why. He noted the name, he was going to read it, when he had the time. The book was named, A thief's tomorrow.

"Right, you aren't informed yet. There's a conference meeting tomorrow morning. It's about the Female Titan. Armin had a theory about who the Female Titan may be." Erwin sighed, arranging the papers on his table.

"Tch." Ivel rolled, his eyes, clasped the book in his hands before looking at Erwin.

"Armin said it's possible the female titan is Annie Leonhart from the Military Police. Armin noticed she used her friend's gear instead of her own during the check. Besides he said the female Titan's moves also resembles Leonhart's moves very much. So we're going to capture her. We're going to Sina immediately after the conference meeting. Scouts are already briefed about it last night. Eren, Mikasa and Armin are going to lure her out before they proceed with capturing her. You're joining me and Levi in handing over Eren. The council wants Eren but we're having Kirstein fake his identity."

"Leonhart..." Ivel trailed off, his eyes glued on the cover of the book.

"Do you know something?" Erwin stood up, walking over to Ivel. It wasn't everyday Ivel would start talking like that.

Suddenly, Ivel shot up from his seat. He was wobbly and nearly stumbled but Erwin caught him. Getting himself out of Erwin's arms, he got to the table, sitting on it before flipping through the files.

"What are you looking for?" Erwin questioned, walking  towards him. Ivel had already picked up a file, flipping through it. It was the file of information on the 104th cadets.

"Leonhart. I knew I heard this name. I just couldn't forget it." Ivel said, placing his hands on the page he stopped at as he read it through. Erwin peeked from above Ivel's shoulders, taking a look at what he was reading. It was without a doubt, Annie Leonhart.

"Erwin. I'm going with the others." Ivel said, slamming the book on the table, closing it.

"But your condition and besides the council wants you there." Erwin said, his blue eyes meeting Ivel's black ones.

"Just get Levi to take my place. I'm going with the others." Ivel said, his laziness in his voice now gone. He was serious this time.

"No." Erwin replied, their eyes still looking into each others'.

"Commander." Ivel said. His serious eyes now wasn't just serious anymore, there was glaring mixed in it. It was silence for a few seconds while they stared before Erwin broke away the eye contact looking down onto the floor.

"Fine."

It was night, the moon hanged tall on the sky while stars shined bright, scattered all across the sky. Despite the bright night, down at the alley was still dark. It was almost impossible to identify a person. It was the perfect spot and time for thieves, murderers, criminals.

"Oi, why are you following me?" A familiar voice was heard saying by a black haired short child, Ivel. He peeked from above the building. He was just taking a walk around the place, having nothing to do either ways. He certainly did not expect to bump into Kenny, he even thought Kenny had died.

"Father. I've been trying to look for you. I was a illegitimate child you created." A voice of a blonde haired girl, in her teenage years.

'Tch, illegitimate child? She must be joking!' Ivel thought to himself. He couldn't picture a serial killer like Kenny doing anything of that sort. It just didn't seem right. 'Who would even do anything of that sort with a person like Kenny? Really?'

"Oi Leonhart, I'm sure I've done nothing that would result in an illegitimate child. Besides, I know exactly who you are." Kenny said, lifting his hat up slightly, revealing his eyes, glancing at the girl.

The girl attacked the man in attempt to escape. She kicked him only to be blocked by his arm. Then, she punched him, once again, blocked by him. But having him distracted slightly, she started to run.

Ivel watched the whole scene unfold from the roof of the building. Kenny didn't chase after the girl. He just stood there, brushing off the dust on his clothes, adjusting his hat before continue walking again.

Ivel debated whether to go up to him, follow him from the roof tops or just continue with his walk. Glancing at Kenny once more, he decided the should keep himself out of trouble and just continued his walk.

Kenny had noticed Ivel being there as well due to his cautiousness he learnt through his years of experience being a serial killer. He himself debated whether or not to approach the child. Taking one last glance at the child, he decided he shouldn't. After all, he had no rights in doing so after leaving them like that but what else could he do? He couldn't leave Kuchel's children to die.

Just like that, they passed by each other, noticing each other but deciding not to approach each other. They've always been wondering what each other were doing but didn't take the chance to ask. They passed it, they both did. While Levi was underground and didn't even had a chance to find out about his little brother and Kenny.
