"Stupid, stupid, stupid." Was all Ashton was muttering over and over to himself when Calum and the guys entered his room.
"Ashton." Calum called out, but the brunette boy just kept pacing and muttering to himself.
"Ashton!" Luke called out finally getting the drummers attention.
"She has a date." Ashton laughs although his face shows pain.
"What?" Calum snaps, this was all so much more frustrating than it needed to be.
He felt that from the beginning Ashton and Jenna needed to see that they were perfect together, but they're both being cowards. Which of course is understandable, but he won't stand by and watch them avoid each other for another three to six days.
This ends now, "Ashton." Calum steps in front of him grabbing his shoulders and holding him in place. "Do you have feelings for Jenna or not?"
"Yeah but-"
"No," Calum stops him. "No more buts, you need to go tell her and stop being a coward."
"But she has a date, she doesn't feel the same." Ashton argues only fueling to Calum's frustration.
"Ashton just trust me on this." Calum pleas. The look Calum was giving Ashton gave him the confidence he needed to nod once before leaving the hotel room.
*Ashton's POV*
I run out of elevator and out the lobby looking around to see Gabby and Jenna sitting on the curb. Gabby has her arm around Jenna as she lays her head on Gabby's shoulder.
"Jenna." I call out making them turn and stand when their eyes find me.
I see Jenna's eyes are red as she tries to breathe normal making my heart ache. "I'll just be inside.." Gabby says quietly before stepping around me and into the hotel room.
"Ashton what are-" Jenna begins to ask, but I'm tired of question. I'm tired of talking. So I just closed the space between Jenna and I, attaching my lips to hers.
Actions speak louder than words right?
Jenna is frozen for a second before she begins kissing me back making my heart skip a beat. That's when I finally see it was Jenna, it's always been Jenna. I was infatuated with the idea of love with Cleo and that's why I was so stuck on losing what I thought was a perfect relationship. But it wasn't, this is.
What I have with Jenna is crazy and confusing, but it's perfect. When she breaks the kiss I let my hands fall to the small of her back pulling her closer as her arms wrap around my neck. Leaning my forehead against hers I can't help the smile that spreads across my face, mirroring the one Jenna is wearing.
I look into Jenna's beautiful eyes before I say, "I'm not letting you get away, not again. I care about you way to much to watch you go on a date with a guy that I know is wrong for you."
Jenna is silent before she starts giggling, "There isn't actually a date.. I just panicked because I really like you and I don't know. I didn't think you'd feel the same.." She confesses.
Letting out a breath I look at my beautiful best friend before we both burst into a fit of laughter. "You made up a date?" I laugh making her blush, but laugh also.
"I was scared." She admit shyly making me shake my head before kissing her again.
Jenna and I pull apart to sit on the curb, putting my arm around her she rests her head on my shoulder. Sitting in silence I knew there was more that had to be said, but I didn't want to ruin our moment. I loved having her in my arms just enjoying her presence.
"I wish I would've met you before Cleo." I admit making the brunette look up at me confused.
"Be careful what you wish for, Mr. Irwin." I laugh at her repeated advice, but I suddenly feel the need to take it back.
"You're right, I wouldn't change this for the world." I kiss her forehead before she looks at me with a thoughtful look. "What are you thinking about?" I ask.
"Just.. I'm not good at this stuff.." she blushes looking to the street. "What do we do now?"
"Well I was thinking I could take you out sometime?" I request feeling a sudden boost in confidence.
"I'd love that." She smiles up at me.
"Good, then it's a date." I confirm.
