So the date was a disaster, Jenna ran late meeting Ashton at the hotel, the car they were in broke down and they missed their reservation. So instead of a fancy restaurant Jenna and Ashton sat in a McDonalds, Jenna in a nice blue dress and Ashton in dress pants and a button up shirt. Talking and joking over chicken nuggets and milk shakes.

"This date sucked." Ashton speaks through his laughter from the story Jenna told him about her learning how to skate and falling off a ramp her first try.

"Yeah, it did." Jenna giggles, but doesn't stop looking at Ashton like he is the only one in the fast food restaurant. "But I had fun." She adds.

"Me too, although I have to admit, I prefer you better in skinny jeans and your red flannel." Ashton admits.

"And I prefer you in jeans and your damn shirts with too many holes." Jenna smirks.

A comfortable silence falls upon the pair until their eyes meet and they can both tell they're thinking about the same thing.

Her.

"So um.." Jenna pauses trying to find the right words for her question. "Can I ask you something?"

"You just did," Ashton smiles, trying to lighten the mood.

"Ash.." She whines playfully.

Chuckling he nods, "Yes, Jenna, of course."

"W-when.. When did you decide you were over Cleo?" Jenna questions looking to her lap. She felt awkward about asking the question, but she needed to know that he was leaving her behind.

"I've been over her.. I was just caught up in wanting someone to be with that I thought I was in love with her. But when I woke up in the hospital, I was consumed by you and for the life of me, couldn't see how I would possibly chose her over you." Ashton explains reaching out to caress Jennas cheek.

"Oh." Is all Jenna says with a slight blush creeping onto her cheeks. "I- I think you should talk to her." Jenna confesses.

Jenna didn't care for Cleo, but she couldn't help but feel bad for the way Ashton yelled at her. She knew maybe Cleo didn't have the best intentions, but then maybe she did. Jenna was just too soft of a person to try and hate a girl who was just trying to regain a boys love.

"What?" Ashton gapes.

"I just- I don't know. I figured maybe she didn't have the best intentions by coming back, but if you think about it.. She's never had a chance to really explain herself."

"Yeah, I guess.."

"It would make me feel a lot better if you talked to her, but I think you'd feel better too." Jenna adds.

"But I feel great."

"Ash- do you? Because I know you're an amazing guy and you feel guilty for beating me at video games.." Jenna laughs lightly.

Part of Ashton did feel bad for the way he yelled at Cleo, but at the same time he felt she deserved it.

"I'll think about it.." He says finishing off his milkshake. "Ready to go?"

Jenna nods finishing her drink too before standing with Ashton and walking out.

"Guys! Guys!" Jenna calls out trying to calm her best friends as they run around the dressing room being.. Well them.

"You dealt with this for a month alone?" Gabby laughs as Jenna falls to the chair beside her.

"Yup, but all I know is their manager is gonna yell at them."

Jenna and Gabby tagged along to one of the many, many interviews the boys have had in just the three weeks since Jenna and Ashton's date. Gabby has been around more and flirting with Luke, but she plays it off saying that Luke is too busy with his fame for anything.

Jenna thinks gabby is too shy to admit she is head over heels for Luke. On the other hand, Jenna and Ashton have yet to be able to go out again because their schedule has blown up recently. That doesn't stop them from making out and acting like a couple though.

"Alright boys, let's go, were on a tight schedule here." The manager calls out while entering the room.

Ashton runs over to Jenna quickly, "Kiss for luck?" He smirks.

"Sure." She smiles pressing her lips to his before he winks at her and follows the boys to their interview.

"You're so lucky, Luke hardly even talks to me when we're around you guys." Gabby whines making Jenna laugh.

"Luke is the kind of guy you gotta be very very clear with because he's oblivious to anything and everything." Jenna explains.

"Says the girl who didn't realize her best friend was basically drooling over her every chance he got." Gabby laughs nudging Jenna's shoulder.

*Ashton's POV*

My knee was bouncing up and down quickly while I sat waiting for the interview to start. I felt happy, giddy even, it was the effect Jenna had on me and I loved it.

"Okay we're live in.. 3..2.." The camera man calls out turning the camera to point towards us.

"Hello! Today I am here with the next big thing, Aussie band 5 Seconds Of Summer." The interviewer smiles looking to us at which we waves awkwardly. "How are you guys today?"

"We're good." Luke answer since he and i are the only one holding mics.

"A bit tired, we've been really busy lately." I laugh.

"Oh really? Doing a lot of promoting for your new album?" The lady asks, we all just nod in response. "Thats good to hear, u heard it went number one and has been there for a good few weeks."

"Yeah, the fans seem to really be loving it and that's great for us since we spent so much time one it." Luke explains.

"Do I see a tour coming up soon?" She questions, we all just look at each other and shrug because as far as we know were just doing promo. "Alright." She laughs looking down at her cards before continuing.

The remainder of the interview was the usual, questions about the songs on our album, the writing process, girls and about my accident obviously.

"Alright and before we wrap this up I wanted to ask, have you heard of the new artist Jasey Sanders?" the woman laughs waiting for our reply.

"Uh, no I can't say I have." I answer first looking to the boys only to see them all shrug.

Except Calum, "I've heard about her actually, she just let out an EP right?"

"Yeah! It was titled, Fake It Till You Make It." The lady tells Calum.

"Yeah, the fans have been tweeting me about he like crazy." Calum laughs, but I notice a small blush take over his cheeks.

"Oh! I've seen that, the fans seem to think you and Jasey would make a great couple. She's also said she'd love to collab with you guys."

This was news to me. But then again I haven't been on twitter much.

"Well that's all the time we have for today, again thank you for coming and good luck with everything."

"Thank you." We all say at once until the camera man says, "alright were clear!"

"Cal, who's Jasey ?" I ask him nudging his arm.

"Oh she wrote that song I showed you, uh Forever And A Day about her grandma ya know?" He smiles.

I recall Calum showing me the song late one night and her voice was actually really impressive. "So the fans think you guys should hook up?" I tease and his reaction is priceless.

Calum starts giggling, yeah giggling and blushing like a love sick fool, "oh i don't know about that but she is a really good artist."

"Well maybe we can collab with her soon." I suggest deciding that I would try to make it happen since Calum obviously has a crush on her. But first.. I must look her up.
