Misunderstandings

The date was awkward to say the least, Cleo kept trying to be cute and close with Ashton when Ashton was just wondering what Jenna was doing in the room by herself.

"Ashton.." Cleo speaks once the second movie ends.

"Yeah?" Ashton asks, turning to look at his date.

Suddenly Cleo's lips were attached to Ashton's, he didn't kiss her back, but he didn't push her away either. He was a bit too stunned to do anything really. The only thing that processed was a voice saying, "Woah!"

Cleo pulled away face red and Ashton was still siting there with a shocked look.

"Pretend we're not here, were just gonna- where's Jenna?" Calum asks.

Finally snapping out of it Ashton points to the room and with that the guys nod covering their eyes before walking into the room and closing the door.

"Where were we?" Cleo purred only for Ashton to try and move back only succeeding in hurting his ribs. "What's wrong?" Cleo asks with furrowed eyebrows.

"I just uh- really wanna watch that batman movie." Ashton lies with an awkward chuckle. He really just didn't want to kiss Cleo again. He tries to imagine that he probably used to feel fireworks and all that fancy stuff. But all he felt right now was like he was kissing a wall.

Not that he's ever kissed a walls before.

In the room Jenna was laying there with her arms covering her face until the guys walked in.

"Why are you in here if they're sucking face out there?" Luke asks throwing a bag of mcdonalds at the brunette.

Her heart sank at the words, but she just shook her head pushing away the food. "Ashton forgot he had a date with Cleo and I was here so he wanted me to stay for whatever reason."

"Oh, are you okay?" Luke asks.

Calum eyes Jenna knowing exactly what's wrong. Her eyes meet his and they basically have a conversation without saying a word.

He gave her a "It's because they kissed huh?" And she just rolled her eyes like it was obvious, he then followed that with a "tell them, maybe they can help." But Jenna just shook her head.

"Jenna?" Michael butts in snapping her from her and Calum's ridiculous face that says she's being a coward.

"What?"

"Are you gonna tell us what's wrong?" Luke asks again.

"Um.." Just as Jenna opens her mouth to deny anything is wrong Calum speaks up.

"Jenna likes Ashton!" Covering his mouth after because he didn't mean to shout it.

In one second Luke and Michael shout, "What!?" And Jenna is on her feet pouncing on Calum making him scream like a girl.

"I told you not to tell them!" She shouts while punching his arm over and over.

"No you didn't!" Calum argues covering his face, scared that Jenna will give him a black eye.

"I gave you the look!" She tries to justify. Finally when they felt fitting, Luke pulls Jenna off of Calum while laughing at Calum's scared expression.

"Calum down." Luke laughs throwing her small body onto the bed. "Take a deep breath." He instructs and Jenna does so. "Now what happened?"

Jenna sighs looking to lap before looking at his friends one by one then spilling everything, "Ashton is the best friend I've had since 8th grade when my friend Elizabeth started dating the guy I've liked since elementary school and I've moved around a lot so I didn't like getting attached and that's why the hate and stuff doesn't bug me anymore. But when you guys teased us about being a thing that day at the studio he freaked out so bad, I didn't think he'd like me so I backed off because he's such a great friend. Then when he came to my house at one in the morning drunk and crying over Cleo I felt terrible because he kept begging me to help him forget her and now he has amnesia and he did forget her, but you guys want them back together and I don't. Because I like him and I could treat him better but who am I kidding? Cleo is blonde and skinny and pretty and I'm not."
