"Well I need to get going, but I'll be back in a little." Cleo smiles before kissing Ashton's cheek and grabbing her purse. Passing Jenna she smirks knowing that the idea of her and Ashton going on a date is driving Jenna crazy.
Once the door closes Jenna lets out a sigh running a hand through her frizzy hair.
"You okay?" Ashton asks, struggling to sit up in his bed.
"Yeah. Just peachy." Jenna says through clenched teeth still looking at the door that Cleo walked through.
Jenna had originally came to make sure Ashton was okay and hopefully to try and convince him Cleo wasn't the girl he thought. Maybe it was for his sake or because Jenna couldn't help, but be jealous. Of course Ashton would fall for Cleo again though, she has perfect straight blonde hair, a thin body, nice clothes and her parents probably spoil her.
Ashton had mentioned a few times that her parents were wealthy and paid for her to live here on her own although they were in Colorado. Jenna couldn't compare, she was thicker because she got her moms genes in the processed of being conceived. So she has a bigger chest, thankfully a flat stomach but along with her fuller assets come fuller thighs.
Jenna never really felt insecure until she met Cleo as saw what she was up against. Now she wishes she wasn't as full.
"Jenna?" Ashton's voice breaks Jenna's away from her pity party of one. This is about Ashton, he's recovering from his accent and Jenna couldn't even imagine how it would feel to not be able to remember the past year of his life.
"Yeah?" She looks over to see Ashton with a confused look, shaking the thoughts from her head she smiles at the lost puppy look on her best friends face.
With that she walks over sitting in the same seat Cleo had been in, "Do you need something? I could call a nurse?"
"No, I'm good thanks." Ashton smiles.
The way Jenna cared so much for Ashton made him feel more comfortable than he was when Cleo was here.
"Alright," Jenna nods awkwardly, usually things would be so easy with Ashton and natural. But since her realization for her feelings for him she couldn't help but be nervous.
"Can I ask you a few things, like about this past year?" Ashton asks shyly.
"Yeah, of course. You can ask anything." Jenna smiles sweetly making Ashton smile in return.
"Um, well first do you know anything about Cleo and I?"
Of course that's what he's worried about, not their friendship but his relationship with the beautiful blonde girl.
"Sorry, no, I met you after you and Cleo.." She paused not sure what Cleo said to Ashton. Something in her wanted to tell him the truth and ruin this whole stupid scheme, but she wouldn't. She couldn't, if Ashton was his happiest when he was with Cleo then that's all Jenna wanted. "We barely met a little over a month ago." Is all Jenna says.
"Oh.. Just a month? Luke said we were best friends?" Ashton questions. He could obviously see how that would happen because just the vibe you get from talking to Jenna is enough to want to be involved in her life.
"Yeah, I mean we were, still are, just I guess we kinda clicked." Jenna tries to explain although she never understood how her and Ashton became so trusting in each other in so little time.
"Oh, that's cool, what was our friendship like?"
"It was great, we met one day in town and then the next day I went over and met the boys. The rest of that day we just hung out and played video games. Since then all we did was eat, I tried teaching you how to skateboard one time. And we all just liked hanging around the house, id even tag along to interviews or studio sessions." Jenna tells Ashton while the smile never leaves her face.
