two more weeks pass. jungkook did what taehyung had asked of him. he stayed away. taehyung thought he would've completely left him alone. he was wrong. it was raining that sunday. had been for the entire day. he didn't mind. all day, he read in peace. listening to the soft sounds of the rain. over the course of a few hours, the rain came in heavier. eventually joined by thunder and lightning. still, the male didn't mind. he decided to watch a movie after eating "dinner." sitting alone with a cup of tea and a thick blanket, taehyung felt calm, even with all the commotion going on outside. knocking interrupted his movie. he sighs, pausing the movie before setting down his cup and throwing aside his blanket. his bare feet hitting the wood floor distracts him from the weather. once he reaches the door, he sees the one and only, jeon jungkook. why can't he ever give up? turning around, tae leans against the door, 'go away.' he receives a response quickly. 'no, i need to talk to you, taehyung.' he rolls his eyes, adjusting his glasses slightly, 'it's more want than it is need.' jungkook knocks on the door again. 'just let me talk to you—' '—i already am, idiot,' '—let me in and talk to me in person. i'm not leaving until you do just that.' he crosses his arms over his chest. 'stay there all you want.' 'fine.' looking back through the peephole, taehyung can see that jungkook has sat down at his doorstep. oh, why does this boy have to be so difficult? tae himself sits down at the door entrance, stretching out and crossing his legs so that his feet touch the wall opposite of him. more than forty minutes pass. the rain crashes down even harder, more lightning lights up the sky, thunder rumbles the earth. the older male finally gives in. he stands up, checking if jungkook is still there—he is, before opening the door. 'hurry up,' the younger boy jumps up quickly.
