'hey, namjoon,' the older male leans over, giving taehyung a quick hug. 'hey, jin, did you cut your hair?' jin does the same his friend. 'ah, yeah, i did.' the two stand at the foot of the bed. jungkook stands on taehyung's left, keeping a hand on the older boy's shoulder. tae snuggles deeper into his boyfriend's sweater. it was originally given to him to conceal his scars—that he had not been ready to show his other friends—but he's grateful for it due to how cold the hospital room is. he doesn't know how no one else feels it. the elephant in the room makes it feel smaller than it already is. they all know the question that is waiting to be asked. suddenly, the door swings open. hoseok charges in angrily. 'you idiot! why would you attempt suicide?' he shouts at the top of his lungs. everyone stares at him in surprise. well, that's one way to do it.
