'do you have a pen?' 'i got a marker?' jungkook nods, 'close enough.' the older male picks a pen off from a desk not far from the window and his bed. 'here,' he hands it to the younger male. jungkook uses the dresser as a flat surface, writing a few quick words on the new polaroid along with the date. 'why the rainbow is ours? what does that mean?' 'it's a song. maybe i'll show you it one day. hey, what's that box?' all attention travels to a blue rectangular box that sits between clumps of blankets. it's metal and partly rusted. there was meant to be a lock on it. taehyung hadn't remembered to put it back on before he fell asleep this morning. 'uh, nothing.' jungkook frowns. 'i thought we were done with the lies. tell me the truth, hyung, please?' tae shuts his eyes, sighing, 'just a box of old polaroids. they're the ones i care about too much or think are too personal, so i don't put them up over the fireplace...' the younger male puts a hand on his friend's shoulder, 'do you wanna look over them together? maybe you'll feel better, i'll be here.'
