From all the possibilities of crying, what just happened just makes her angry instead. "Asshole! You think I'm not gonna find out Fred? Really?" After another slap, Sam can't stop cursing her now-ex-boyfriend for cheating on her. With someone he called as his best friend.

"Sam, I'm so..sorry."
"Shut the fuck up. I'm not buying it. Now fuck off!" His attempt to block her way ended up with a punch on his face. "I said fuck off!!" Rubbing his own face, Fred let her walk away as she proudly lift her face and put her helmet on. And then she drives away.

Entering the 4th ave, she pulls aside and take out her phone, try to calling out her brother Chad. "Chad? Is there any room left for me at your house? Just for a couple months after my apartment sold and find a new one."
"Wait, what? What's wrong with the old one? I think you and Fred both like it and you...." Sam quickly cut his words with a simple answer, "We're over. That's it."
"Okay, there is one that used to be Justin's room. You can use it."
"Thanks Chad. I'll tell everything when I see you."
"Oh, can you please buy some beers on your way here? My friend will coming here today."
"You mean your band?" She says, annoyed. There's a history between her and the singer, Anthony. In fact, she once had a one night stand with him back then. But then she found out Anthony is in active relationship. "Actually not my band. But talking about that, how long you're gonna bitter to Anthony...."
"Oh, see you Chad." She cut him and hang up.

She put her phone back and take a breath for awhile. But then when she's about to put her helmet on, something hit the back tire of her bike. "What the...." She turn her head and see a car just parked and it's the one that hit her bike. "Great, what a good day..." She says to herself, trying to hold down her anger. "I'm sorry! I..." Someone grab her shoulder she almost punch him in the face. "Just so you know, I almost punch you because I had a shitty day today. Lucky enough I didn't." She put her helmet and about to start the engine but the person stop her again, this time he goes in front of her bike. "Let me..pay for any crack or something." She recognizes that face. He's Taylor from the Foo Fighters. Chad used to be toured with them couple years ago. "Hi.. I'm.."
"I know who you are."
"Really?"
"Sure. Your band popped up everywhere. I'm getting tired of it. Also my brother.... " She stop after she realized she can't let him knows that her brother is actually one of his friends. "Your brother...?"
"Oh, nothing. I forget what I want to say."

"So.. about the compensation.."
"I don't need that. Just make sure you park carefully next time. You sure don't wanna touch a big guy bike." She start the engine and drives away, but looking on the mirror noticing something. "Well, he's kinda cute to be honest. I never think I'm gonna say that but...." And she feels ridiculous for a second and slap her face. "You just broke up. That's why you think he's attractive."

On her way there, she see a store and remember what Chad said earlier. "Shit I need to buy some for him." She stop her bike and pull aside, check her wallet hoping she had enough money on her. Take some money and get inside the store.

After get 6 cans, she's about to pay that when she suddenly see another stuff. "I don't know how long I'm not taking care of myself. Maybe I should do it now..." She get a bunch of new make up tools, skin care, and grooming product. She looks at all the stuff she got. "Geez, now I need to use my card.... But whatever I need these."

Soon she arrives at Chad's house and she can't wait to see her dearest brother. It's been awhile since the last time she visited him. And because the job she took with Fred, she has little time for that. But since she split up now, she considers herself to take Chad's offer a year ago. His son, Justin is always dreaming to be a sound engineer and Sam was used to be one. Chad wanted her to be a teacher for Justin.

"Chad!!! Hey it's Sam."
"Sam? Wait there!" She wait for some seconds before he reach the door and open it. "Sam!!! Come here buddy." He hug his sister and give her a pinch on her cheeks. "I'm sorry to hear about Fred."
"Naaah. I'm good. He's a jerk. Glad that I punched him."
"Whoaa. You what?? Damn! That's my sister!" He laugh, proudly. "Yeah, I should've listened to you about him."
"Don't be sorry. Come in." He let her step in and then he notices a big bag on her hand. "Wait." He giggles. "I told you to buy some beers, not the entire store."
"I'm buying stuff for myself."
"Right, right. Just...come."

They walk through living room and Chad turn to his friend there. "Hey, here is my sister, Sam."
"What?? She... I'm...oh my..." He's surprised to see her again after their encounter earlier. "Geez it's you. Where's your car anyway?" Sam replies with a roll on her eyes.

Chad stands there, stoned. "You guys have something to tell me?"
"No. It's just he hit my bike earlier."
"Hey, I already say sorry and offer you to pay any crack." Chad quickly cut them two. "Okay, okay. Just stop. Since you two already met, I guess I don't have to introduce you anymore." He grab a bag of beers from Sam and give one to Taylor. "Thanks." Taylor says and pop the beer.

"By the way Chad, can I see my room?"
"Sure. Upstairs, on the left. Oh, and you should tell me everything about Fred. Later."
"Alright." She go upstairs and nowhere to be seen again.

He goes back again to Taylor. "So..you see my sister. I hope she didn't punch you for hitting her bike." He chuckles. "Well, haha. Almost. I'm lucky she didn't. Oh, and she seems like having a bad day though."
"Yeah. She just broke up so..."
"Oh, okay. That's why."

"Dad?" Justin shows up at living room. "Yes?"
"Aunt Sam here?" He looks excited and kinda can't wait to meet her. "Yes! That's her. Go upstairs. She's in your old room."
"Really??? Cool! I'm gonna ask her to teach me lot of stuff." He run to the stairs and Chad just giggles there. "Hah. That boy."

"Is she a teacher?" Taylor sip another drink and then back to him. "Nahhh. Sam was a sound engineer and Justin really likes her for that. I once offered her to be his teacher but she declined to work together with Fred."
"You mean her ex?"
"Yeah. Her ex. Why is that so important?"
"Haha. Nothing. Just clear the fact."
"Right, but anyway... Since she's no longer with Fred. I may ask her again about being a teacher for my son."
