"Excuse me? Anyone's home?" It's almost 10 a.m in the morning when Sam hears someone keep ringing the bell. Last night was a rough night and she couldn't really asleep from the constant calling from Fred. She didn't pick up and ended up killing the phone line by pulling out the battery from her phone. That's why she didn't wake up earlier. "Seriously? What time is it?" She checks the clock and turn her phone on again. There's a couple text from Taylor but most of the text came from Fred. It's just really annoying and she considers to change her number.
Last day recording! Wish us luck!
One text from Taylor makes her smile wide. But then she remembers someone actually still ring her bell. "Oh crap..." She runs down and then open the door. "Broddy!" It's Chad's assistant and she knows how pissed he is to wait for a long period like that. "I'm sorry, I just wake up."
"Don't mind me. I'm just delivering this and Chad want to make sure you really get it so... Just please tell your brother the effort I put in this."
"Don't worry, I'll ask him to give you a bonus. Bye!" She slam the door behind and then open the envelope.Just like what Chad had promised, 2 tickets to Barbados. She's very excited to spend the holidays with Taylor. Just two of them. "Damn, I think I will take a ride to New Orleans again."

In attempt to surprise him, Sam didn't tell both Dave nor Taylor about her visiting the studio. So when she get there, she carefully call Dave's number but he doesn't answer. Calling Taylor's number, no answer as well. "Hello?" She realized the door isn't really locked, it makes her worry. "Dave? Anyone?" Through the door, she's peeking inside, find Dave passed out on a couch with some bottles. Looks like a mess. Both Dave's and Taylor's phone are on the table just 3 meters from Dave. But Taylor isn't there. The whole room smells like lot of BBQ and beers.
"Taylor? Hello?" She then tries to wake Dave up. "Dave? Hey..." All he does is mumbling and won't even open his eyes. So Sam walks further into the recording studio. "Tay? You're here?" And then she remembers that they all have their own room so she goes straight to Taylor's room but yet he's nowhere to be found. Even though she's legitimately thinking that they're just wasted after party, but it's definitely concerned her. She's about to leave the place and looking for him outside when she notices one room with Dave's name on it, slightly open and she can recognize Taylor's blonde hair.
But when the door finally open wide, she didn't expect what she's witnessing right now. The view of him, side by side with Patricia only with a blanket on. Losing words, with a mixed feelings inside of her head, she turns her back, trying to get out of there as soon as possible but her backpack hit the desk lamp and smash it into pieces.
So Patricia wakes up, quickly covering herself with the blanket, triggering Taylor to wakes up as well. In a pure horror, she's trying to collect what happened. "Sam?" There she knows that both Patricia and Taylor awake because of the lamp. But she knows if she turns around, she will lose herself and burst into tears which she doesn't want. "Sorry to interrupt you two. I'll leave, for good. Don't worry, I'm not gonna say anything to Dave." And walks away without even a glance back
Taylor can't believe that he just done something terrible and now looking down, feel guilty about everything. "I'll talk to her." He stands up but then Patricia stop him to do so. "No, this is my fault. Last night, I should not... The point is, I will talk to her." She grab her clothes, quickly running to catch where Sam goes.
She knows Sam went there by a bus and so Patricia goes to the bus stop, hoping she's still there. There's one stop that's the closest to the studio. Patricia goes there and can't find Sam. But then she looks at a coffee shop nearby and find her, sitting alone with a cup between her palms. Cold stare straight to the table, emotionless. Seems like she doesn't notice Patricia's presence and so she doesn't see her coming inside the shop. "Sam." She approach her which Sam replies with just a glance. She looks up but then looks away to the window.
"Sam. Please let me explain..."
"About what?"
"It wasn't his fault, last night I was..." Then Sam turns extremely mad instead, and cut whatever Patricia is trying to say. "Stop. Just stop. Don't say anything. There's no way he did nothing wrong. Both of you hurt me, that's a fact. Don't try to makes everything sounds better."
"Just please, Sam. Give him a chance. I promise I'll...." Sam gives her a sigh, with a negative smirks along with it. "I don't care what you're about to do next. Leave me alone. Not a good time to bother me. Fuck off." It's the first time after her breakup with Fred that she's literally becoming that person again. A mean person that flipping on everyone. "Sam..."
"Fuck. Off. I'm sure you hear that very clear. Don't mess around with me, I had a hot coffee on my hand." Feeling there is nothing she can do to change her, Patricia stands up and leave. She can't change any bit of her feelings after what happened earlier.Back to the studio, Taylor is already waiting at the front door when Patricia comes back. "How is she?" He ask, and Patricia just take a deep breath. "Very angry."
"I'm so sorry this happened. She must be very disappointed."
"No, I'm sorry that I messed up your relationship. It shouldn't happened if it's not because of me. What are you gonna do?" She ask, feeling very guilty about Taylor's relationship with Sam. But too bad she can't do anything about it."Apologize, for sure. But I'm not really positive about it. I screw up and I know that must be hard for her to accept me back." He sighs and then get his phone carefully from the desk and get into his room. Sitting and cursing himself. Then he dials her number and hit the call, thinking about apologize to her.
Unexpectedly, she pick up the call. "Hello? Sam?" But rather than her voice, he's greeted by a loud music in the background. That's definitely The Rolling Stone's It's Only Rock 'n Roll. It seems like she let the call on and put him on a wait. He has no idea what's going on or where she is right now but this is the only thing that he can do right now. He waits patiently until the song is over before he hears Sam's voice. "Ladies and gentlemen.. this...is how you fucked up a relationship. Have a nice day." Taylor haven't get a chance to say a thing before she hang it up. "Damn it Sam, I need to talk." He says to himself and throw his phone to his bed.
"Fuck, what should I do now?"
