"Excuse me? He what?" Taylor skips a beat right after those words came from Sam's mouth. "Josh. He proposed me. He asked me to marry him." There's slightly a ray of sadness on his eyes thinking that the woman he loves probably will be another man's wife. He didn't prepared for that.

"Well, congratulations. I guess?" That's the only sentence that he can make up. He looks down and doesn't even have power to look at her. "I'm not decided. Yet."
"Why?" He looks up, seeing something from her eyes. She's clearly had her own battle. "I don't know. It's not that I don't love him, it's more because I'm not ready for that. I'm kind of afraid..."
"Of what? You love him, he loves you. Everything is on the right track. Right?"
"Like I said, I'm not ready. Some things still bothering me." She takes a deep breath and put her forehead on her palm. "What is that?"
"I'm not sure... It's..... Just... Doesn't matter. The point is, I need time to think."
"So that's why you hit the separator? You were focus on that thing while driving, weren't you?"
"You can say that. It's so stupid, I should've pull over and go to bar or something."
"Or maybe you should go back to your apartment rather than go anywhere around here. The road is dark and slippery."
"You're right."
"Why the hell you were around here though?" She smirks this time, making Taylor kind of miss her more. Her smirks.

"Actually, I'm about to go to eat, at Mackey's. But couldn't make it there. Thanks to you for the fish and chips. I'm sorry I eat your food."
"No, no, that's fine. I accidentally ordered two."
"Haha. What? Are you hungry or something?"
"No, actually... I'm just used to ordered that amount for us."
"Oh.. yeah, I remember." There's a light smile on her face that she tries to hide from him but he already catch that.

"Sorry Sam, I didn't mean to like trying to remind you or anything..."
"No, that's okay. It's a good memory though. I don't regret that."
"Well, thank god." Taylor walks back to his chair after finished put the ice on her shoulder. "Better?"
"Lot better. Thanks." She then continues to finish her meal while Taylor goes up to get his phone. "Hey Sam, should I call Chris?"
"Umm... Yeah, you may call him. Tell him he doesn't need to wait for me. I bring my key."
"Alright." Taylor makes a call to Chris while Sam watching her own cellphone. There's a lot of messages from Josh and Chad. She doesn't want to think about the proposal right now so she skip Josh's messages and open some from Chad.

Where the hell are you? I thought you said you were gonna watch us?

Oh, I bet you'll regret leaving the show because I just saw Damon Albarn backstage. You will absolutely JEALOUS!

Hey Sam you haven't answer my call for hours. Please call me if you see this. I'm getting worry.

The last one from Chad makes her feel bad for leaving so suddenly. So she dial his number and makes a call. "Hey Chad."
"Damn it Sam. I'm really worry. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah. I'm good."
"Well, you sounded like you're not. Please don't lie to me, you know I can smell it." Even though she tries hard enough to sounds happy, it's still obvious for her brother. "Just some issues. Nothing big.."
"Where are you? I'll pick you up and we can talk."
"Nooo. You don't have to. I'm at some friend's house now and..."
"Sam...tell me where you are." Taylor walks in right when Sam is about to answer. She looks at him and then turn back to the call. "Promise me you won't make any comments on this." She takes a deep breath before she continues her words. "I'm at Taylor's house." Both Sam and Taylor look at each other and all that Sam can do is mouthed 'calm down'.

"You what?"
"It's not like what you're thinking okay? Just come here and you will understand my circumstances."
"Alright. Wait for me. I'll pick you up."
"Okay. See you Chad." Sam put her phone back to her pocket and facing Taylor who's sitting across the table. "You're gonna tell your brother about the proposal?"
"I don't know...maybe. Or maybe not. But I think it's better if he hear it from me and not Josh or anyone else. I'm his sister after all."
"Right, it would be better. Oh and please tell him that I didn't beat you up or something. I'm afraid he will beat my ass when he see your messed up face." Taylor giggles, pointing at all the stuff that's going on her face. "Don't worry, haha I'll make sure to tell him right after he step in."

"Anyway, I already call Chris and he said a 'get well soon' for you."
"Ah, that's just sweet of him. Best roommate ever." Sam gets up from her seat to put her plate on the sink. "No need to clean it. I will do it by morning."
"Well, okay then." Sam just put it down and then goes back to her seat.

When they're both are about to go to the living room, they hear the bell is ringing they know it's Chad. "Calm down, I got this." Taylor let her sit and goes to the front door. "Hey. Chad. Come in, Sam's is on the couch." Chad doesn't say anything and looked like ready to punch someone. He walked in and find Sam is currently applying ice to her cheeks. "What did he do to you?"
"What? No! Nothing. I hit a separator with my bike and I went here for a help."
"Is that true? Because if it's not..."
"Chad, please. It's all the truth. This is why I don't want you to come. Because you will be mad as hell." She stands up and drag Chad to sit down and get relaxed. "Now you might ask me what happened before the incident, right?"
"Exactly. You were gone all of sudden. What the hell happened?"
"It was.... Umm... Josh proposed me."
"Wh...what?? Am I hearing it right?"
"Yeah you are." Taylor adds and then sit down in front of them. "She told me she lost focus and hit the road."

"Sam?" Chad now looks at his sister, straight to her eyes. "He's right. I couldn't think. I just... I'm not ready for this kind of thing. I never gone through this before."
"So did I when I married, Sam. Take it slow, think with a cool mind. What are you thinking about the idea?"
"It scares me."
"What scares you? The marriage? Or do you have any doubt on your commitment with him?"
"I don't know... And Chad, please don't tell him about this. I don't want to upset him. I promise I'll thinking about it." He take a deep breath and then says to Sam. "You do have an issue with the commitment, don't you?"
"Chad it's not....."
"Sam, Josh is a very nice guy. He's my friend and I really wish you two can make it. But the most important things is both of you can be true to each other. You need to make up your mind. Give him an answer. He deserves to know how you feel."
"I will, Chad. But not now."
"Okay. And another thing, I want you to know that I will always support you, no matter what's your decision will be. You got it?"

"Absolutely."
