Good Old Day

Dave keeps talking about what a good day it is because of the date he just had a night before. "Yeah right. Like the best you've ever had, right? I think I heard that before." Taylor rolls his eyes. "Don't be jealous Hawkins."
"I'm not!"

"Oh, and by the way... Gary just quit." Nate cut both Dave and Taylor to gives announcement. "Gary? Our sound engineer?" The announcement also new for Chris. But then Taylor chuckles. "What's so funny Tay?"
"Nothing nate. It's just... What a coincidence."
"What coincidence?"
"It's just I met Chad's sister and she was once a sound engineer."
"Oh really? Should we ask her in?" Dave jumps into the conversation. "I.. I don't know. Chad is planning to makes her as a teacher for his son."
"Yeah, but he hasn't ask about that, right? You should ask her when you visit them again."
"I don't know, Dave. Is that appropriate?" Taylor isn't really sure about that since Chad wants her to teach his son so bad. "Just ask. It will not hurt anyone. Also, we need to find a right person, fast. And I don't know about anyone, yet."
"Alright, alright. I'll ask her."

Meanwhile, Sam is enjoying her day off for the first time after some times working non-stop. Enjoying a cup of coffee, she wait for Nancy or Chad to show up. "What a good day to start. Finally. A day, for myself."

"Sam?"
"Hi Nancy."
"Sorry, I just got back and Chad didn't tell me you're coming."
"Naah. No problem. He told me you're out of town, so.. I decided to prepare breakfast for your family." Sam stand up and go to hug Nancy. "Ugggh. It's been a long time. Justin always asking us about you."
"I know, I know. He force me to teach him lot of things yesterday."
"Aw, I'm sorry for that. You know him."
"Naah, I'm glad he did that. He kept me busy. I just broke up."
"Oh my.. come here sweetie." Nancy hug her again and put her hands on Sam's cheeks. "I'm good. Trust me. I punched him though. I feel good." She giggles. "Okay, okay. What you made for us."
"The basic. Scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes."
"Haha, justin loves that. I usually add broccoli." Sam serve a plate for Nancy and she takes a bite. "So.. what's your plan after this?"
"For beginning? Stay in your house." Nancy laugh on that. "Come on. I mean the other things. I mean...you work with him. How about that?"
"I quit. Maybe I'll take Chad's offer to be Justin's teacher."
"Are you sure? I mean, I know you care about Justin and Chad also begged to you about that.. but you also love to go out."
"Yeahh. About that. I got nothing to do. Maybe I'll find another job later, but until then, I'll try to be a teacher."

"Oh hey! Honey." Chad just wakes up and go straight to the kitchen, seeing both Sam and Nancy there. "Hi. Morning. Nice sleep?"
"Yeah, kinda. But then I heard you two talking here so...well. I'll get mails and my paper first."
"Okay. I'll prepare your plate then." Sam shout to him and go to get the food for him.

When Sam go to get the food, the phone is ringing and Nancy is the closest one to get the phone. "I'll get that!" She gets up and walk to the phone. "Nancy Smith."
"Oh, hey Nancy. This is Taylor. I thought you're not home. Is Chad here?"
"He is. Should I ask for him to take the call?"
"No, just tell him I'm gonna come to visit. I have something to talk to him. Thanks Nancy."
"Sure, no problem." After she put the phone back to its place, Chad comes in already with mails and newspaper. "Who's that?"
"Taylor. He said he's gonna come here to talk to you."
"Talk to me, about what?"
"Don't know... Didn't explain further."
"Well, forget that. I'm starving right now." Chad run to the kitchen and sit down on his chair, can't wait any longer to eat his meal.

"Here is your plate, anddd a glass of milk also. I don't want you to get a beer in the morning." Sam rush into the dining room and put everything. "Oh, also, I think I'm gonna go buy some clothes because I really don't wanna go back to my apartment and see that bastard again."
"Hey. Are you sure you're okay? Seems like you had a lot of bad blood happening right now." Chad stop her doing anything for awhile and noticed how angry she is. "I'm just.. I can't believe he just texted me, asking if he can borrow my clothes for her. What's wrong with him???"
"Sam. Relax. Just block him, okay? Take a deep breath....have some fun today."
"Right..I should have some fun. Thanks. Anyway, I will get a lot of clothes so.. I'll be back after more than 2 hours."
"Just take your time. I'm gonna be home today. Taylor is planning on going here again."
"Oh okay then. Send my greetings then." Sam takes her key and leave the house while Chad is eating his breakfast.

When he almost finished reading his newspaper, Nancy comes in and call him out. "Honey, Taylor's here. I told him to wait at living room."
"No, ask him to go to my studio. I'll go there soon." So she goes meanwhile he continues reading and take his milk with him. With newspaper and milk on his hand, he walks to his studio and close the door.

"Hey Chad!"
"Taylor! You said you wanna talk to me?"
"Yes, about that.... Is Sam here?" Taylor looks around and then turn back to Chad. "No she's not. She wasn't in a good mood today so she went outside."
"Oh okay. I expected to talk to both of you."
"What's that?"
"Umm.. my band need a new sound engineer since the previous one just quit. I'm thinking to recruit your sister." Chad looked surprised but in a good manner. "What? You serious?"
"Yeah. You're not mad?"
"No I'm not. But honestly..kinda. You just hijacked a teacher for my son. Haha."
"So...you approve this?"
"Maybe.. but it's up to her, you know. I mean, I know she loves to work outside, but it doesn't mean she's willing to be on tour or something." Taylor think for a second. "Can I wait here, so I can ask her directly?"
"Well, sure you can. But be careful, she might be still in a bad mood."
"Alright then! Thank you so much buddy!" Taylor gives him a fist bump. "Oh, since you have to wait for her, should we jam?"
