"What's wrong, love? Afraid of a little water?" You and Aqualad circle around each other in the sparring match. His soothing silk like voice makes it hard to imagine him as a threat to fight.

"Aqualad, I know you were trying to taunt me but could you be a little less you?" You stand up out of your fighting stance, losing the will to fight in seconds.

"Aw, you can't fight me?" He grins, his smile sinister.
"Too bad." He gets down, swiping your legs and causing you to fall back. You get up quickly.

"Oh, okay waterboy. I see how it is." You chuckle.

He roundhouse kicks your ribs, you wince and hide your grimace as your organs cry out when you stand straight.

He's about to front kick you, and you catch his ankle, twisting it so that he'd fall on the ground.

He gets up before the system announces his fail.

He advances, and you wait for him to throw hands first. When he engages, you block it and try to send a counter attack which he deflects as well.

After numerous attempts to get a hit in, he keeps deflecting yours and you keep deflecting his, so when you deflect his again, you knee him in the stomach successfully. When he staggers back, you smirk and go all out.

You front kick him again and go in to strike his stomach, then bring your elbow up to his chin. When you send a face punch, he catches your fist and forces it down, head butting you. You place a hand over your forehead, dazed as you stagger back and he takes the chance to engage. He grabs you from behind, his arms firmly around your waist as he lifts you and leans backwards body slamming you.

You're both getting up, but you swipe your leg at him to make him lose balance.

He falls back down and you take the moment to get up and step on his abdomen to keep him down long enough for the system to recognize that he's down. He grabs your calf and by natural response, you set fire to your foot holding him down.

"Y/s/n!" Artemis shouts.

He hisses, your eyes widen when you realize what you've done. You take your foot off of him, kneeling down and examining the burn that went straight through his clothes and burnt his skin.

"I'll get the med kit." Wally says, leaving for a split second and returning with one.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't realize, I forgot you're, Kaldur I am so sorry."

"It is okay, I will be fine." He cups your face in his hands. He wraps his arms around you neck and you think it's to hug you.

But no.

He yanks you down and you both roll, with your back slamming into the ground as he gets on top, straddling your waist.

"Y/s/n, down."

"What? What?! But you were on the floor for like a minute!"

He laughs, and then hisses at the burn.

"That's not even faaaiiiirrr!" You groan. The others pull Aqualad's weight off of you, tending to his burn.

"Life is not fair, my dear." He grins, lying down so that they can properly tend to the burn.

He beckons you, and you roll over to him. He leans over to you to whisper into your ear,
"You are soo gonna make this up for me later."

Oh boy, it's a good thing Conner isn't in the same room.

I feel like this could have been better but idk man.
