PETER'S POV:
I slowly opened my eyes to see a bright room, my vision was blurry and I felt almost as if the room was spinning. I let out a panicked wince after trying to move and realizing that my whole body was in pain.
"Whoa, take it easy, Peter." I heard a familiar voice as I layed back down to my position. I took a moment to reply to the person, as I tried to catch my breath.
"... Bruce?" I finally said, confused about what was happening and where I was.
"That's me." He said warmly with a chuckle. "Good evening, kid. I'm glad to see that you're finally back."
I tried to look up at him, my vision still blurry but clear enough for me to recognize his face. "What happened...?" I glanced around the room, as it started getting familiar too.
"Peter, you uh..." Bruce started talking but hesitated a little. "You had an injury, and it also caused you to have a severe concussion. It's great news to know that you recognize me. Do you know where you are?" It seemed like he wanted to change the subject, but at that moment I just went with the flow.
I sighed as I gave the room another look, my vision seemed to be fine now. "I'm at the Avengers Facility, at the lab..." Bruce smiled and nodded. "Good. Now, you need to know that your injuries and concussion recquire alot of rest, so I'd advise you to-"
Some other people yelling from outside the lab had interrupted him.
"Friday, how many times do I have to tell you that Deadpool is not allowed in the Avengers Facility?"
"I apologize sir, but Deadpool seems to be getting inside without me detecting him."
"Tony, just please-"
"This is the final warning. Get out."
"I need to see Peter!-" His voice was cut off by his grunt, and shortly after that a thump was heard, probably of him falling to the floor.
"You never learn, Wade. How many times will I have to shock you until you give up?" I heard steps of the person walking away. "Now get him out of here."
My eyes widened as I heard the name. Wade. I know this name, but why can I not remember who it belongs to? Who is Wade? Who is...
"Peter? Are you alright?" Bruce said with a concerned look, realizing that I had been looking into the emptiness for some time after what we heard. I looked up at him full of confusion, but I nodded to reassure him I was okay.
"Bruce... Who's Wade?" His concerned look suddenly turned into pure surprise after what I had just said.
"D-Don't you remember? At all?" He looked nervous in all of a sudden.
The doors of the lab opened and mr. Stark had just walked in. He looked at me and smiled brightly with relief after taking in the fact that I was awake. "Hey kid, how are you feeling?"
"I'm good." I nodded once again and talked in the quietest and softest voice possible, while I was still lost in thought.
"Great." He took a moment to talk again. "Listen, about what happened..." He sighed
"Tony, wait." Bruce said stopping mr. Stark. He looked at me and then back at him. His voice turning into a whisper as he kept talking. "He doesn't remember. Maybe reminding him at the moment wouldn't be the safest idea either." I wonder why Bruce even bothered whispering, after all I am Spider-Man and my sense of hearing is enhanced.
Wait, I am Spider-Man.
How did I not remember this until now? This concussion must be a really bad one.
I could hear the indistinct dialogue of Bruce and mr. Stark, until I finally snapped out of my thoughts. "Alright Peter, get some rest." mr. Stark said before leaving. Shortly Bruce left too, closing the lights to let me get some sleep.
