PETER'S POV:

One year ago.

It was a quiet day in New York city, as I was going on a walk that slowly turned into a midnight watch as Spider-Man.

"Good evening, Peter." I finally heard Karen tell me after I had adjusted my suit and jumped on the roof of a building. Special thanks to mr. Stark for that, Karen has kept me company while I was Spider-man for many years. I finally got used to her and all of the settings in my suit.

"Hey Karen." I sighed. "You know, I'm supposed to be grocery shopping for aunt May but I may have gotten a little carried away. The super market will probably have closed by this time, anyways." I sighed.

"I can do it tomorrow morning, I guess. Better late than never." I shot a web into a nearby building and swinged onto another one's rooftop.

The loud bang that came from somewhere in the buildings made me jump. My spidey sense detected exactly when it came from, and without hesitation, I followed it.

My spidey sense had led me to a building - a crippled and abandoned one. I saw some pieces of broken glass that had falled from the windows. Whatever had just made the loud sound probably was the thing to cause this. Was that an... explosion?

"Hey, could you please do me a favor and stand still for a second? My grenade just missed you!" I heard someone yell, and shortly I heard another explosion. "It's such a shame seeing all of your work being blown up, though."

"The heck...?" I whispered to myself and crawled inside the building from a broken window, hanging from the ceiling.

I zoomed my vision a little to see the suspect better, a heavily armed man in a... Red suit? "Dude, that's my thing!" I mumbled underneath my breath and got closer.

Another man was running around looking helpless and trying to find a way out. The guy in the red suit held a plastic bag he picked up from a table next to him.

"Listen Tom, you've done bad things and I'm here just so you can pay for them." He gave a closer look at the bag. "Heard you're quite the bad man." He had taken out a gun and aimed it at the guy and then threw the plastic bag away.

"But that's nothing personal. Bye Tom~!" The man in red said in a happy tune before shooting.

The web I had just shot was enough for the guy to be safe from that bullet. The gun was knocked out of his hand and fell on the ground.

"The fuck-" The guy in red looked at my direction. I could tell just how confused he was feeling.

"Hey, what do think you're doing?" I responded to him and jumped closer while shooting more webs to trap him.

He took out the two katana swords that were neatly placed in the cases on his back and sliced some of my webs in half. His moves, however, weren't fast enough for every single one of my webs.

"Huh... This usually works with bullets..." I heard him say looking at his tied up with webs self.

"Oh hey, aren't you the arachnid boy from the news?" He said full of surprise.

I sighed. "It's Spider-Man, actually." I said while swinging around him, finally trapping him. He was unable to move.

"Nice meeting you, Spidey!" He said in a friendly, sweet tone and looked at me full of delight.
