PETER'S POV:

Past.

While on an afternoon patrol, I made a little stop to prevent some burglars from getting into a building.

"Hey fellas, what are you up to?" I said landing in front of the five masked men who were trying to break in.

"Gotta say, I love what you did with the outfits!" I said looking at the halloween masks they were wearing while aiming my web at one of them, sticking him to the wall of the building.

"So guys, who's next?" I said and immediately got a gun shot in response from one of them. With a quick move I avoided it and jumped up to the wall, my feet sticking on it.

"No sir, Spidey's against violence!" I told the guy before lifting him up with a web and turning him into a cocoon that now was also stuck on the wall.

The other three had now taken out their guns and were aiming at me. I shrugged. "Criminals are just like rebellious teenagers, they never listen to what you tell them."

I jumped up, shooting webs with both my hands onto the ground in between one of the burglars. I pulled the webs, quickly landing on the guy's face and pinning him down.

"... Or maybe they're just stupid. Society can't tell." I continued mocking them, dodging a few more bullets from the two remaining burglars.

I suddenly heard two gunshots coming from nearby, and in a split second both of the burglar's guns had fallen off from their hands.

"Never fear, Deadpool is here!" The familiar scream was heard from where they came from. I chuckled a little at his 'heroic' entrance.

They looked towards the place the gunshots came from and with terror they started running away. I shot a web to each one of them, sticking their legs to the ground and making them unable to move.

I turned around to the place the gunshots came from and gave him a thumbs up, smiling through my mask. "Good one!"

Deadpool dramatically walked towards me and put his two guns back to their pockets. Almost felt like he was trying to do it in slow motion.

"And so Deadpool saved Web-Head once again. Spider-Man's eyes were filled with amazement by his heroic act and he-"

I cleared my throat. "Uhhh?"

Deadpool snapped outt of it and walked towards me normally. He stopped in front of me and shrugged. "What? Isn't that what those fanfiction writers do?"

Deadpool tends to say some weird things over time.

I took a moment staring at him with confusion. Deadpool sighed in disappointment, probably because I couldn't understand for the life of me.

I could almost say that the past few weeks had been pretty awesome. When I finally found Deadpool again and apologized to him it was like everything had changed.

I had made a new friend in the world of heroes, a friend I needed.

A friend who would help out and make me laugh, even if his jokes were sometimes very dumb or inappropriate. Sometimes I was cold to Deadpool. I would usually act like I didn't like them but I knew deep inside I was enjoying it, both his company and his jokes. Something about them though, it seemed familiar.

Deadpool was trapped in the prison of humor.

He was just some mysterious guy with an unknown past to me, however I could tell that he was broken and had been through alot.
