PETER'S POV:

I had spent a very boring day of resting on my bed, but I was surprisingly feeling so much better. I finally looked over at my phone to see what time it was.

"Wait, where's my phone?" I muttered to myself and scanned the area for it.

Mr. Stark had also reassured me earlier that he had talked to aunt May to cover up my absence from home all this time, but she must be worried sick. I should probably call her, I wonder how many messages and missed calls I have from her.

I took a deep breath and got up, my headache still slowing me down but I was doing great compared to earlier. My whole body was still in pain but it was much lighter and it didn't affect my walking. I kept looking around in hopes of finding my phone but it was still nowhere to be seen.

I smirked a little. "Now I finally have an excuse to get up and wander around." I thought to myself as I quietly exited the lab.

I kept looking around cautiously to make sure that none of the Avengers were there to see me.

"Seriously, kid?" Mr. Stark had appeared behind me out of the blue, suddenly hearing his voice made me jump. I turned back slowly and gave him a nervous smile.

"How'd you-"

"Friday."

He chuckled. "You have quite the nerve to wander around just a day after waking up. You're still weak, Peter."

Yep, there it was.

I groaned full of annoyance and crossed my hands. "Mr. Stark, I don't know whether you have noticed or not but I'm 20 years old now! And I'm Spider-Man, I've definitely been through much worse than a being shot by a bullet!" While I tried to seem smart and grown up, little did I know crossing my hands made me lose my balance a little. I quickly put one of my hands against the wall and smiled once again to smoothly make him forget that I had almost fallen down.

Mr. Stark nodded ironically. "I can see that. Come here, Pete." He said in a sarcastic tone and came over to me, gently grabbing onto my shoulder so I didn't lose my balance again and took me to the living room. I sat on the couch and cocked my head slightly to the left waiting for what he wanted to tell me.

He sighed and looked at me, removing his black sunglasses and leaving them neatly onto the coffee table. "Peter, are you sure you don't remember anything?"

I took a moment to think. There's so many things I feel like I have forgotten, and it hurts just to know that I'm missing something.

I shook my head sadly and still in thought.

Mr. Stark nodded and looked outside. "Look, Friday and I have been trying to find out what happened but... We've got nothing. The others suggest that you shouldn't remember, but if anyone else knew it would have been you. Something happened around the time you were shot, Wade didn't explain what exactly happened and where you were some days before, I..."

He realized what he had just said.

I felt another tear roll down my cheek, remembering that I had spent hours trying to remember where that name came from. But I did nothing, I just struggled, my brain couldn't remember a thing.

"Mr. Stark..." I said, lifting my head up and looking into his eyes.

"Who's Wade...?"

Mr. Stark didn't answer to my question.

"Who's Wade?" I repeated hoping that he would finally tell me.

"Please, just tell me already... It's been eating me all night. I don't remember a thing."
