"Mom!" I yell as I walk into my parental house. "I really need your help on this one..." My mother comes walking towards me. "Really need your help..."
"What is it darling?" I show her my phone.
"I told you I met Pierre Gasly right? I have been chatting with him a little because he is going to arrange everything so I can come to the French Grand Prix, but then Dante happened..." Mom reads what Dante has texted Pierre through my phone.
"That is..." I can see mom is searching for the right words. "Not what he should have done?" I sigh, that is how far I have gotten myself. "Are you sure he is good for you?" I know mom has always had a feeling about Dante she wasn't that pleased about.
"I don't know, but I have the feeling this is not what a boyfriend is supposed to do."
"That feeling is true darling." I plop down on the couch.
"What am I supposed to do about it?" I hide my face in my pillow, unsure of what to do in this situation, which is the reason why I am laying here on my mother's couch. "I am not prepared for this..."
"No one is darling, but you do need to consider the fact he might not be the right guy for you." I sigh I know I need to consider that.
"Can you please read my text before I send it to Dante?" I ask my mother. She has always read what I would send when I had something I was slightly insecure about.
"Of course darling." She kisses the top of my head and I start writing the message.
