Since I was a bit mean in the ending of the last chapter here is the next. (This isn't just an excuse for me to write another chapter at all😶😏)
Pierre just stares at me. He is shocked to say the least and I can't say that I blame him. This is not nothing I'm telling him.
"You... What?! I don't understand."
"Maybe that's for the best..." I mumble.
"I know that Julia was confused and that eventually decided I was not going to be the guy for her and that it in the end would hurt both of us but you made the decision for her?!" I open my mouth but I can't get any logical word over my lips. "Did you just stage all of it?!"
"What no! Are you crazy. It was just a coincidence that I ran into you when you were on your way home from Julia. I had no clue!" I try to defend myself. I already was afraid something like this would happen when he would find out.
"I invited you into my home, had fun with you, but how much was actually real?!"
"All of it!" I try to reason with him. "I only gave Julia my advice when she asked me what to do. I only told her what my opinion was on it, at the time I didn't even know she was talking about you, so how could I have staged it?" Pierre frowns.
"How the hell is that possible?"
"She never said names. Told me about her situation but never told me you were the one she was supposed to go on a date with. I put the link between the two of you when you told me the story in the restaurant." Pierre's look softens.
"But..." He puts his hands in his hair. "I need some fresh air..." He walks out of the room and I sigh deeply.
