Couldn't wait to post it hehe
I am still frantically running around, just this time solely in the kitchen.
"Anca, all the guests are there."
"Pierre?" She shakes her head and I bite my lip. "I guess I'll just have to do it without him then..." I take a deep breath, clean my hands and walk into the dining room. I try to get everyone's attention and when I do, I clasp my hands together. "Welcome everyone. It's a great honour to have you all here. I hope you will enjoy the menu we have prepared especially for tonight. Everyone is busy trying to make the best food you will have in your life, hopefully." They laughed. "So please enjoy and..." I look around at all the guests when a Kiwi catches my eye. How can Brendon be here and Pierre not? "Please have a fun night." I smile and drag mom with me inside. "Can you look out for Pierre? Brendon is sitting there and he and Pierre were on the same flight..." She frowns.
"Of course." I turn to the counter where my first order comes in and I forget about Pierre immediately.
"Okay, four starters please!" I yell and soon the rest comes in. It is a little bit frantic, but I'm enjoying it. This will be my life from now on. "One vegan starter and three originals!" I receive another receipt and start yelling again. "One portion of..." I frown. What the hell. "Nevermind. Dad, can you take over?" I step out to find a grinning Pierre in the entrance of the kitchen.
"Hey mon amour." I cross my arms in front of my chest. "I'm sorry. I was here. I swear! I was standing on the side, I am proud of you." I chuckle and let my arms drop and kiss him passionately. Everyone in the dining room starts to cheer and I blush.
"I have to get back to the kitchen."
"Will I get my order?" I chuckle. "Well?"
"Tonight, when everyone is gone, you'll get your order." I wink and then walk back. I'm in love with my life. But even more with the Frenchman who listens to the name Pierre Gasly.
This was it. I could have gone a while longer, but I think it might have gotten boring then.
